Americans believe in freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, separation of Church and State, free and fair elections and equal protection under the law.

Republicans believe in crushing dissent, voter suppression, censorship, Christian theocracy, Christians having superior legal rights, White people having superior legal rights, cops having the legal right to kill unarmed black people with no consequences and Republicans should have the legal right to bully, harass and kill gay people.

The beliefs of Americans and Republicans are diametrically opposed to each other.

The debts by and large don't really matter, there are a few bad regulations sure but nobody is crippled in these states, thats why they have large populations and house many of the largest and most important companies in the fucking world. The number of people terrorized rioters (who are not terrorists by any definition) is small that it doesn't matter.

The government did the only moral thing in the gase of the "rioters" and and in many cases came down too hard them. The non-affluent aren't trapped by taxes, the upper middle just doesn't have a great time of it.

The economies not only will not be turned off for a couple of years they are likely to get better and quell many of the systemic problems in those states as it relates to race.
