Trump's former campaign manager just tried to shoot himself. No joke!

Well, no, that's not what the article you link says. It doesn't say he tried to shoot himself. Maybe a third of the misinformation on this board could be obviated if posters actually read and absorbed what the articles the link to say.

Somebody should tell Brad, though, that Trump absolutely isn't worth that.

And what was he doing with the gun? Attempting to knock himself over the head?

.

Yeah, I have to agree with the OP.

Barricading yourself with a gun and threatening self harm is pretty straightforward.

We'll never know for certain, but I'm willing to accept the obvious.

You folks don't see the difference between "tried to shoot himself" and "threatened to shoot himself"? If not, you have no business reposting news reports--certainly no business expecting anyone to believe your reporting.

So the cops came because he only threatened?

So I was being too optimistic?

Careful now.....you're treading dangerously close to Coronager and Harpy level hairsplitting.

You are technically correct however.

Mea Culpa.

a cynic might say his behaviour was designed to put his mental health into question for implications in future court cases--a way of keeping any anti-trump testimonies to himself as an 'out'

or then again, maybe the age old basic humiliation to family/loved ones might have driven him to it

these days, i tend to me more cynical--which is kind of a shame.

No, rather you all are coming close to the Trumpettes' characterization of events style.

It's good to look at all the possible angles.

You may very well be cynical AND right about his motivations.

I hadn't even considered what you suggested; but after thinking about it for a minute, it makes a lot of sense.

Kudos

It has to be difficult when one wakes up to the fact that they have been supporting a crook, narcissist, womenizer and perpetrator of sexual assaults.

Obviously the man is having a mental health crisis.
Thanks to the guarantees of the United States Constitution, he still has access to his Second Amendment right to semiautomatic weapons.
I hope these weapons provide comfort to him in the trying days ahead.

I had thought that no one was allowed to join the Trump Club,
unless Trump had dirt on a prospective new member- before they applied
for the position. (Assurance of mutual destruction.)

If he was black the cops would have shot him,

especially in Florida. Seems to be a "Stand Your Ground Situation."

Sooner or later everything Trump touches turns to shit.
