Proximity to the Summer Lovin Contest has put this on the back burner. As noted in another thread, doubt I will get an entry done. But that won't stop me from kibitzing.
Contest details:
Halloween
themes: scary stuff, costumes, Halloween traditions (trick-or-treating, etc.), etc.
starts: October 1
closes: October 22
winners announced: October 29
I have had both fun and success in the past with this contest, so highly recommend entering. A few themes to get the ideas started:
~ bobbing for apples at college party becomes a de facto wet T-shirt contest
~ the adults raid the kids' candy, unaware that it contains a chemical which is harmless to kids, but activates adult libidos.
~ A Tentacle Monster Halloween. Drunken gal does not realize that it is not a costume on the guy she meets in the alley behind the bar...
~ a classic: the two ends of the horse costume. I can't ever get enough of mixes and matches there.
~ the graveyard as setting for spooky party. Not sure where it goes, but the setting is a start...
