This is a place for Veroe and I to talk about and collaborate on threads we are working on together.
 
Welcome. So, to the question you asked that brought us here. I am still thinking on a name for my character. I almost said Serena, then went, no wait, that would really confuse us :). Then I thought Natasha since it is associated with strong russian women, but that is too close to my own name. Hmm, this is harder than I thought. I am leaning towards Alexa or Arya. Last name... Morgan. Thoughts?
 
I like Alexa that sounds sexy and sophisticated to me.
 
Ok sounds good to me. Alexa Morgan it is.

So we have the setting, we have the names... whats next :)
 
How about we figure out what Alexa's role in the company will be post-merger. How about we make it she's been effectively pushed out of any control...where contractually she still gets paid, but she has nothing to do all day giving her lots of time to act out her revenge?
 
That works for me. Maybe that is where they could meet again. Caleb could come in looking for his mother and well, she sees him her idea for revenge starts to form. Interactions with Meredith would only fuel the fire of course.
 
I would say the office. I dont think Meredith would be inviting Alexa over to her home that much. Unless she is throwing on office party that Alexa is by default invited to. That would work as well. She could be bored and go wandering through the house and run into him. Hmm, so many possibilities.

Yeah there was that one pic I showed you for Nyra that we thought fit her. Let me see if I can find it and post the right pic for once Veroe!

I like the party idea. It could be to celebrate Meredith becoming a senior member due to arranging the merger in the first place. You're right about the possibilities it brings up for how they'd meet and the chance for her to snoop around and get some insight into a strained dynamic growing between Caleb and his mom.

Yes I do remember a picture you showed me awhile back for Nyra. It had a bathtub if I remember correctly :).


Oh, the idea of Meredith having a party to celebrate her becoming a senior partner would really piss Alexa off. All her hard work stolen and then thrown in her face by her having to accept the merger to maintain her livelihood. And then being accepted to a party to basically celebrate her downfall. That would make any woman want revenge.

Well I think you should start it to set up your character's state of mind, the dynamic between her and Meredith and all the reasons for it, and I'm still working on my response for Sorceress right now.

I do have two additional thoughts. Given its New York the home would be one of those super expensive high rise Manhattan apartments. Most of the guests would be congregating in the living room and kitchen area you could have your character get disgusted by the whole thing and escape down the hall towards my character's room where she can peak inside of.

Secondly I want the title of the thread to be "Wicked Intentions".
 
wow, you are really going to challenge me on this one. I am not the best at starting threads, but, hey I offered to join this one with you to put myself out of my comfort zone. And since you are working on a response to our other thread, I can't complain, since I do enjoy that one as well.

So, would you like it to lead up to her looking into his room, or just until she arrives at the party. I am going to assume Meredith would be an NPC that we can both write for.

I will start on it. It may take me a bit but I am excited to get it going.
 
This may challenge you and stretch you some, but I believe you'll be able to rise to the occasion and crush it.

Just focus on setting up your character's situation and mindset. The rest will come in the subsequent posts.

Oh and yeah finish it with her peeking inside his room. I may be able to put some things to give you a good springboard to interact with him in the subsequent posts.

Yeah Meredith will be an NPC we both control but I'll do my best to play off the way you do her so it'll be consistent and not contradict.
 
You have more faith in me than I do but I will definitely try my best. I cannot guarantee getting a post up tonight since I have a very early appointment in the morning.
 
Okay cool. Whenever you get the time. You know I'm not a stickler on that.
 
I was thinking, what if Caleb gets a summer internship at the firm. Would make it easier for them to be together and right under mommy's nose :D
