GOP Congressman Threatens to Shoot Armed Protesters in Unhinged Facebook Post

WHen did SWAT become SOG? "Kill 'em All and Let God Sort Them Out!"

When it was created. It's what law enforcement does. Don Cheadle was talking about all the times cops pulled guns on him. Famous actor, author, director, producer and writer. That Don Cheadle. Amber Ruffin also had guns draw on her. A American comedian, writer, and actor. She became the first black woman to write for a late-night network talk show in the United States. She talked about the time she thought she was gonna die because a cop started yelling at her while driving when she was a teenager. Then there was former tennis great James Blake who was misidentified and tackled by a cop for a fraud case. Can you imagine a cop tackling a white guy for a suspected fraud case?

‘Hopelessly corrupt’ Trump is a national security threat: Ex-FBI agent at center of Russia probe

Trump is hopelessly corrupt and a national security threat” with FBI Agent Strzok writing that the investigation into the president actions demonstrated Trump’s “…willingness to accept political assistance from an opponent like Russia — and, it follows, his willingness to subvert everything America stands for.”

“The reporting about my texts hadn’t only whipped Trump into a frenzy,” he wrote in his book. “It had also sent Republicans in Congress into a righteous peeve, giving them fodder for right-wing indignation that would eventually ferment into the deep-state fairy tale that would consume conservative media.”

Writing “It started with Russia, and it was always about Russia,” Strzok explains the agency was “investigating a credible allegation of foreign intelligence activity to see where it led,” before adding, “We needed to ask a question that had never before arisen in the entire 240-year history of our republic: whether the president of the United States himself might be acting as an agent of a foreign adversary.”

Strzok recalls his meeting with special counsel Robert Mueller and laying out the “dizzyingly complicated portrait of foreign interference,” explaining, “…on top of it all, at the pinnacle of this heap of perfidy and treachery, sat a president who had lied to the public, cozied up to Russia, and, once he became aware of them, attempted to block our investigation at every turn.”

Republicans seem less and less like a political party and more and more like an organized crime family or a gang of skinheads.

Republicans seem to get caught breaking the law every day. This time it's a GOP New Hampshire state lawmaker named Jimmy Spillane who got caught publicly urging his followers to burn down the homes of Black Lives Matters supporters.

In a Facebook post, he told his adherents that they were "free to loot and burn that house,” if they had a Black Lives Matter sign on their front lawn.

Yeah, he's under investigation now by law enforcement in New Hampshire. I hope he gets sent to prison for a long, long time. I'm sick of seeing Republicans inciting violence and urging their followers to commit violent crimes.

Something tells me a group of skinheads would have planned their crimes better and cared if they were caught.

Since Donald Trump was sworn into office I've heard Republicans proclaim that collusion isn't a crime, fraud isn't a crime, sexual assault isn't a crime, perjury isn't a crime and lying to the FBI isn't a crime.

And now the Republican attorney general is saying he doesn't know if voting twice in the same election is a crime.
Barr Repeatedly Claims He Doesn't Know Whether It's Illegal to Vote Twice Following Trump Comments

Pressed late Wednesday to respond to President Donald Trump's remarks encouraging North Carolina residents to try to cast two ballots in the November election, Attorney General William Barr—the top law enforcement official in the U.S.—repeatedly claimed to not know whether it's illegal to vote twice.

In response to Barr's remarks Wednesday, Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) pointed to federal law, tweeting: "As the attorney general, you are expected not to be an idiot when it comes to basic legal principles. Federal law prohibits voting more than once in the same election. 52 U.S. Code § 10307."

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said "Barr once again made clear today that he is not serving as the attorney general for the American people."

"He is serving as the personal henchman for Donald Trump," Jayapal added.

Trump only hires people that are dumber than him so he looks smart by comparison.

After Bannon got arrested, Trump got very nervous and claimed he had nothing to do with Bannon's "Build the Wall" scam.

Trump is now saying that he “didn’t like it” and thought it was “showboating and maybe looking for funds.” In a stumbling response, he repeatedly said he never approved of the project and Bannon aside, that he didn’t know anyone involved. A quick perusal of the facts says otherwise.

Trump's OWN SON, Donald Jr, praised Bannon's project, calling it "private enterprise at its finest" and saying that what Bannon was doing was "amazing".

Trump's Acting Homeland Security Director Chad Wolf, called the group’s work a “game changer” and said he “welcomed” their efforts.

Right now Trump is nervously attempting to place a huge amount of distance between himself and Bannon's group of con men, but he welcomed this group’s efforts right up until ProPublica reported on the shoddy construction of the privately built wall, which was in danger of falling over. Nevertheless, the contractor, Fisher Industries, was awarded a massive government contract to build Trump’s wall and Trump “personally and repeatedly” intervened to make sure Fisher was awarded the project.

Yeah, Trump is scared.

Trump and his ally Steve Bannon are in legal peril

Bannon is, of course, only the latest member of Trump’s inner circle to face criminal charges – a group that includes Paul Manafort who Bannon replaced at the campaign; Manafort’s Deputy, Rick Gates; National Security Advisor Michael Flynn; Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen; Roger Stone, the Republican trickster.
But there are many reasons that make what Bannon did worth following closely even if his trial is not scheduled until May 2021.

Bannon was indicted for a terrible crime that we cannot let be normalized. What he did mimics Trump’s fraud against students at Trump University and Trump’s misuse of donations to his Trump Foundation. Did Bannon learn from Trump or did Trump hire Bannon because he knew he shared his views of what is acceptable? We’ll never know but we do know that Bannon’s indictment along with that of all the others working for Trump’s campaign and administration is just one more reflection of the (im)moral climate the President has set for his administration. It’s a tone that has diminished our position as a world leader and that should influence how each of us votes.

It is also a predictor of more to come, possibly something broad enough to encompass a number of Trump hires and volunteers. Indeed, more seems imminent. The Washington Post and other news outlets are reporting that Elliott Broidy, a California venture capitalist who raised millions for Trump’s inaugural and served as Finance Chair of the RNC, may be charged soon with violating lobbying laws for his efforts on behalf of China to get the Chinese Guo Wengui, extradited to China. Prosecutors are also reportedly interested in Broidy’s work on behalf of a Malaysian client to end a federal criminal investigation. Guo links Broidy to Bannon because Bannon was staying aboard Guo’s luxury yacht when he was arrested for fleecing the donors to, We Build The Wall. The reported case against Broidy may indicate that Bannon’s arrest was step one of a larger case. In addition to Guo giving Bannon use of his yacht, he allowed Bannon to use his private jet to promote Republican congressional candidates in 2018. That arrangement could violate campaign finance laws banning foreign donations.

Is there a larger money laundering case that federal prosecutors in the SDNY and Hawaii are putting together? Can Bannon and/or Broidy be flipped to build a case against higher ups?

Rumor is that Broidy may be cooperating, but he and Bannon can wait for a post-election pardon regardless of who wins the election since Trump can hand them out until Jan. 20. Even so, flipping seems entirely possible. Bannon and three co-defendants are charged with enriching themselves at the expense of hundreds of thousands of donors to an alleged not-for-profit, “We Build The Wall,” by falsely promising that the founder would receive no compensation and 100% of all contributions would go to building a wall on our southern border (a wall that Trump said Mexico would pay for before diverting Pentagon funding to that purpose when Congress refused to fund it when Mexico didn’t).

The indictment also mentions that they didn’t create an actual nonprofit organization until they got caught saying they were one but weren’t, and they didn’t get legally required building permits until they got caught at that too.

Trump is being sued by columnist E. Jean Carroll, who accused the president of raping her in the ’90s. In his denial of the charge, Trump cast aspersions on Carroll and essentially branded her a liar, despite the fact that confidants of the columnist have come forward to say they were told of the assault contemporaneously. Carroll has taken legal action against Trump to hold him to account for his alleged defamation, and she seeks to have him deposed — a risky proposition for the president known for lying constantly.

Then A.G. William Barr stepped in and said that Trump calling E. Jean Carroll a liar and insulting her was an official part of Trump's duties and thus he cannot be sued as a private citizen.

But many argued that the defense is absurd on its face.

“Hard to imagine a general counsel’s office anywhere in corporate America would argue that an executive sneering ‘she’s not my type’ about a woman who had accused the executive of rape was part of doing that executive’s job, but that’s what Bill Barr’s DOJ is arguing,” said legal analyst Luppe Luppen.

‘Put the GOP out of its misery’: Conservative calls for destruction of Trump’s Republican Party

Conservative Tom Nichols called for the destruction of his former party before President Donald Trump finishes trashing the Constitution.

The Naval War College professor wrote in The Atlantic that the Republican Party he had joined as a young man had been hollowed out and stuffed with the “Trump family’s paranoia and corruption.”

“I understand the attachment to that GOP, even among those who have sworn to defeat Donald Trump, but the time for sentimentality is over,” Nichols wrote. “That party is long gone. Today the Republicans are the party of ‘American carnage’ and Russian collusion, of scams, plots, and weapons-grade contempt for the rule of law. The only decent, sensible, and conservative position is to vote against this Republican Party at every level, and bring the sad final days of a once-great political institution to an end. Then build the party back up again — from scratch.”

Oddly the same could be said about Democrats. They have strayed far from FDR's legacy and have become the party of Wall Street. The left wing of the party is very concerned that their voices are being stifled and even discriminated against!

America is at a crossroad, do we abandon the parties that have brought us to the brink of bankruptcy and chaos, forming new parties with real platforms instead of pander points that address the National Debt, the Social Contract and the overwhelming burden of DOD budgets?

:)

But will any of it matter?

Probably not, the Parties are deeply indebted to the Donor class. Congress is not interested in legislating against Citizen United, to keep the flood of Corporate money flowing. The LSM needs the revenue!:)

Tucker Carlson tries to throw Lindsey Graham under the bus for Trump’s disastrous interviews with Bob Woodward

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blamed Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Wednesday for urging President Donald Trump to participate in taped interviews with Bob Woodward for the veteran journalist’s new book “Rage.”

Carlson, who has also downplayed the deadliness of the disease, did not address the president’s claims themselves. Instead, he wondered “why in the world” Trump would speak repeatedly with Woodward on tape after refusing interviews for his 2018 book “Fear.” The earlier White House insider account described a “nervous breakdown of Trump’s presidency.”

“Why in the world would he do that? Well, tonight from a source who knows the answer to that mystery: Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina,” Carlson said without naming the source.

“It was Lindsey Graham who helped convince Donald Trump to talk to Bob Woodward. Lindsey Graham brokered that meeting. Lindsey Graham even sat in on the first interview between Bob Woodward and the president,” Carlson claimed. “How’d that turn out?”

:D:D:D:D:D

Our attorney general is a fanatic — and it’s even worse than you think

Public Enemy #3! Behind Donnie and Moscow Mitch Bill Barr is the 3rd worst!

Attorney General Bill Barr is by far the most dangerous member of Donald Trump’s inner circle of neofascists, white supremacists, grifters, liars and enablers. Not only is Barr a hardline proponent of the “unitary executive theory,” which promotes a broad expansion of presidential power, but he is also a true believer in the virtue and necessity of establishing a Christian theocracy in America.

How the wealthiest member of Congress helped big banks get an offshore tax dodge after the 2008 meltdown

Sen. Kelly Loeffler, the appointed Georgia Republican who faces a tough election race this fall, helped her company establish a Cayman Islands offshore tax dodge months after the Great Recession hit. This allowed some of the world’s biggest banks to avoid paying U.S. taxes on their risky Wall Street bets — including on the financial instruments that were key contributors to the global economic collapse.

Loeffler, the wealthiest member of Congress, at the time served as the top communications and marketing officer for Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), where she helped market a new program called ICE Clear Credit. That was a credit default swap (CDS) clearinghouse that included a Cayman Islands corporation that would allow its clients, including some of the biggest banks in the world, to dodge U.S. taxes.

That CDS clearinghouse, by far the most dominant in the world, is still in action. Loeffler stepped away from the company last year after being appointed to a vacant U.S. Senate seat by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, but still holds millions of dollars in the company, according to financial disclosures.

Loeffler drew scrutiny this spring for controversial stock trades she made after a private Senate briefing on the new coronavirus. Shortly after that news broke, her husband Jeffrey Sprecher, who is chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, made a $1 million donation to the pro-Trump America First Action PAC, according to a Federal Election Commission filing. The Justice Department opened an investigation into the trades but dropped it shortly thereafter, finding no wrongdoing on Loeffler’s part.

Humour Break:)

WATCH: Moderator cringes as Trump supporter hilariously goes off the rails during Senate debate

Things got weird during a campaign debate among Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and the candidates seeking to replace her.

One of the candidates on stage was independent candidate Max Linn, who supports President Donald Trump. “How would you ensure that everyone who needs health care has access to it and can afford it?” Linn was asked.

Linn replied that he had to be different and said he was going to put the question aside.

“I would ask that you stick with the question,” the moderator replied.

“Request denied,” Linn said.

As Linn rambled on, a second debate moderator interrupted to try and keep the discussion to the topic at hand. “Request denied again,” Linn responded, as he went on to praise the moderators.

He also said he doesn’t want to be judged on his answer.

Where do Republicans find these clowns?

Ted Cruz buried in jokes about his anatomy as #TedCruzHasNoBalls trends nationwide on Twitter

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was the butt of jokes on Friday as the hashtag “Ted Cruz has no balls” trended nationwide on Twitter.

It started when the Texas Republican accused liberals of never growing balls.

Unsurprisingly, many people in turn noted that Cruz has a subservient relationship with Donald Trump, who said his wife was ugly and suggested his father help assassinate President John F. Kennedy. Here’s some of what people were saying about Cruz:

Trump insulted your wife and father, yet you continue to gobble up his stool like it’s a Red Lobster shrimp basket.
Ted, no one - and I mean absolutely no one - would put you and “set of balls” in the same sentence.

If someone said your wife was ugly and accused your Dad of planning Kennedy’s assassination.... what would YOU do?
Literally any other man would kick that guy’s ass.
But no.... this dickless wonder does campaign calls for him.

Remind me Senator are balls the things you had when Trump destroyed you, insulted your wife’s face, said your dad killed JFK, hijacked your party and all you did was kiss his ass??
😂

Loser!

‘A deer doesn’t look like a human’: Family of South Dakota Republican’s victim demands justice

When South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg reported that he “hit a deer,” what he actually hit was 55-year-old Joe Boever and his family members are demanding answers.

According to the Rapid City Journal, details are thin after Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) briefed the public on the hit-and-run incident where the attorney general struck a person on his way back from a Republican Party event around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

A release from the Department of Public Safety doesn’t say if Ravnsborg stopped his car to confirm that he hit a deer and look at the damage to his car.

Bloomberg News reported that Ravnsborg swears that he wasn’t drinking at the event and he called 911 immediately after hitting the man.

“Ravnsborg has received six traffic tickets for speeding in South Dakota over the last six years. He also received tickets for a seat belt violation and for driving a vehicle without a proper exhaust and muffler system,” the report also said.
