Hey all.

I want to end the current day in the story, 8 August 2048, so that we can move on.

I'm writing a post now that will see Wes and Polly arriving at Underneath. They will be surrounded by armed Security, identified (Polly will be known to Alice, and Wes will be in a round about way), and ordered to strip out of their contaminated clothing to put on PPE for transport down into the Infirmary.

There will be a little bit of "god mode" on my part so if you are writing a post at this moment that might be affected by what I am doing or if you have a problem with the "god mode" I have suggested above, please contact me immediately! I don't want to offend anyone with GMing their character, but I want to get us moving on the story.

Just a heads up Hunter is going to try to find Kendall and Peter is again going to try to hit on Riley. Is Riley's writer still writing?

Are there any character interactions that need another male writer? I could write another character I think.

Hi, sorry for my absence. As long as Alice is okay with it, I am still here to write! I was struggling with how Riley was going to be in the action of it all, but as the story has progressed past the top side scene, I'll work on getting her back in with everyone.

Are there any characters and/or story lines you wish to introduce. I created one about wanting to go out and do some fishing, and (per KyleReevis's actual idea) I also posted one about farming and ranching. And Wyld (Wes) began the concept of going out to find his friend Wes, who has a bar and armory.

We also have a potential new writer, but I'm wondering whether to go with her because she has NO posts anywhere, brand new. Maybe I'll involve her with a character I create so that if she bails it doesn't affect ya'll. Or one of the guys can. No rush.

It would be kind of nice to know that all 3 of you are subscribed to this thread. Could you maybe post just a little something here, maybe a question, comment, complaint, or concept.

I would be interested in Hunter Lee being involved in either the search for fish or the efforts to better secure the perimeter. Could that involve some characters going to one of the neighboring cities looking for electronics?

I like the 1x1 concept for interactions that involve only 2 writers, btw. In regards to open 1x1s, Hunter and Kendall have one open. I think the main thread can go on without waiting for it to end, so don't wait for us.

Peter (who I write) and Riley (who Ms Tiff writes) are about to start one, but it can start on 10 or 11 August as far as I am concerned. (Ms Tiff, I'll drop you a line about that.)

Also, I wouldn't mind writing one of the bobblehead guys, twins sorry. Personally, I'd like him to be a bit overwhelmed. Is Kimmie available again?

Correction: I accidentally used "Melinda" as the mother of the newborn child. Melinda is "Cookie", and she definitely did not just have a child. So, I'm going back to change the List of Characters and the IC reply in which I called the new mother Melinda, and I'm changing the mother's name to Laura. It's just a small mistake, but I didn't want anyone to be confused. (BTW, it was KyleReevis who pointed this out to me. His character Bryan is fucking Cookie, and I think he would have noticed if she'd been 9 months pregnant at the start of the RP. )

Hi everyone!

So, I just put up a reply in the main thread for Alice dated 11 August.

I think we have about 5 1x1s open right now that are taking place on 10 through 12 August. To prevent confusion and overload, I suggest that we all concentrate on our 1x1s until they are concluded and properly posted into the main thread in their proper time line position.

Wes (Wyld) will likely have a post going up about painting the school, but since I write Mimi, Willa, and Kimmie (all of whom play a part in this art project) I will not write for them but will instead arrange with Wyld to write their parts minimally in his reply.

Riley (Ms Tiff) is involved in a 1x1, but you (Ms Tiff) are also welcome to post in the main thread if you have something, too, obviously.

Also, I did reach out to the new writer, who I have learned is male and, while only having a handful of posts on Literotica, appears to be a pretty good writer. I always fear bringing a newbie into a group thread, so the role I am offering him will not heavily involve the main thread's timeline.

And yes, I know that he will read this reply. I don't think that I have said anything offensive to him. I'll keep ya'll up to date on this.

So, everyone go enjoy your sex and conversations and I'll be following along (reading the sex!), and you all let me know when you are ready to go on to 13 or 14 or 15 August (as a little time jump maybe).

Oh, and I'm putting together a page in the OOC thread that will list all of the 1x1s, including:

• Characters and writers involved.
• Their status: ongoing or concluded.
• The gist of what's happening.
• And more.

I will post this page in the IC as an OOC and here in the chat as well, just to ensure that everyone sees it. But that won't be until later in the day. I got a job with the Census Bureau, and I have to go out and count heads today.

What if Wes, Hunter, and Kimmie (and 2 or 3 NPCs) went together to go find the fish and collect Shane? Even though it doesn't fall into the main IC time line for a while, we could actually start it now and then drop it into the time line after a bit. How long do you suppose it's going to be before they go do this? Days, weeks? (You don't have to answer that here, Alice, but you can obviously.)

Remember, just as soon as we finish with some of the 1x1s, we're going to send a team to North Platte and to the pond where Wes is going to catch some fish. So, we still have 2 or 3 1x1s that are or are not interacting with the main thread's time line.

I totally failed to acknowledge Wyld's contribution!! I'm so sorry. That wasn't intentional. The two of us don't have characters who are directly involved (particularly sexually), so it kind of slipped my mind to speak about the hotness involving you.

Trust me when I say I'm following your characters with great interest, too. The whole threesome thing, omg! And I can't wait to see what happens with the big Irishman and his Indian barmaid. Can I use that word without being social insensitive. Barmaid? Ha, I'm joking, I meant Indian, of course. By the way, I am that. Indian (Native American, Indigenous America, First People), not barmaid.

Anyway, I just wanted to ensure that everyone knew I'm totally hyped on ALL of your writings.! I hope this RP goes on forever, and to help it do so, I am writing a post with some more character ideas, and I'm going to bring Hunter back into the picture soon, too.

Some character ideas:

The Fisherman: he is an older (40-60), grumpy, crude and rude misogynist who operates a fish farm. When the fishing team reaches North Platte on their way to the fish pond Wes knows about, they could learn about a man who actually operates a fish farm. I'm thinking that maybe he has a young girl (18-19) who lives with him in almost slavery like conditions. She can be played by one of you and can be rescued by you all. Maybe Hunter could insist they rescue her, even after being told it's none of their business.

Victor Boone: Now, I know that this character is part of the 1x1 involving Wyld and Alice, but I loved reading the concept about the blue bird dollars and the whole who gets money and who doesn't thing. Sort of reminded me of the recent stimulus package that gave half a trillion dollars to big business and only $1200 to the people. (Sorry, I'm not trying to get political here. Forget I said it.) Anyway, I thought maybe I could write either Boone or a man who works for him in some capacity. Anyone got any ideas?

Dead Man Walking: I was wondering whether we should have someone die. It's a dangerous world, and I just thought that maybe I could write a guy who saves a woman somehow before getting himself killed. Ideas?

I don't know about any of the rest of you, but I am not a politically correct type of person. I am more about showing respect than in how respect is shown. It seems like every other year, we are told you can't use Coloured, Colored, Negro, Black, African-American ... Indian, Native American, Indigenous American, People of the First Nations.

I'm white. Just white. There's nothing right or wrong about calling me just white. I don't want people calling me European American or Caucasian or anything else. I'm just white. One of my best friends is black. Just black. She won't let herself be called anything else because she is quarter "just white", quarter Jamaican which is some degree of "just" black or African or French or who knows what that she doesn't give a fuck about, and the last half is "just black from America not Jamaican".

Confused? Yeah, so was I the first time she explained how she felt about race. It all came down to her saying "When you talk about me, don't call me your black friend or your African American friend. Call me your friend, and if you find it necessary, call me your friend who happens to be black." I love this woman. She's so smart.

Some character ideas:

The Fisherman

I would love to write this girl, but I have so many characters already. Ms_Tiff, if you are interested, PM Kyle. Kyle, if she isn't, I'll do it! I love this idea.

Victor Boone:

I don't know if another 1x1 with a flashback is advisable, but I think that once the fishing thread is underway or completed, an interaction with a land baron might be interesting, particularly if it involves Shane Flanagan, who knows the man well.

Dead Man Walking:

Yes, I agree, we sometimes need some one to kick the bucket. Let's think about this one.

Have to say, it would be a shocker to the story, though, and does have some interesting roleplay scenarios that would generate from his death, if we WERE to do it.

I'm fine with any of my characters getting killed, as long as it is something that would advance the story and make it compelling. I tend to get attached to all my characters, and try to make them seem as realistic as I can within the scenario they're involved in...and death is a reality too.

Initially, I thought of Finn because of his role...he is kind of a bodyguard, and I even foreshadowed it a bit by saying that he would be willing to "die for Shane" in one of the first posts I made dealing with him alone...but that was before him meeting with and developing a relationship with Becky.

Now that his character is more fleshed out, it would definitely be a punch to the gut...the tragedy of him getting killed right as he finally finds happiness would be hard.

I do agree, though...I wouldn't want to see it happen too soon, if we decided that was the way to go. I think his relationship with Becky needs more development.

Hey everybody again.

I'm still working on the OOC as often as I can. I added two new character profiles to the list of characters, Jake and Emmie. Check them out. They are, of course, Ms_Tiff's people, and they are wonderful.

I have decided I will take up the invitation to write the fisherman's play thing, but it'll be a couple of days before we start that. There's just so much mastur-- I mean, writing to be done. Sorry. Freudian slip, is that what it's called. Or is that what happened when Freud slipped out of his wife. OH my God, I'm horrible! Sorry. I need more coffee or maybe less, I'm not sure which.
