I could use help with grammar, punctuation, spelling, the flow of the story, thoughts on the character's believability and open to any advice not covered here. Stories range from 1,300 to 7,000 words.
Many of my stories are pretty vanilla compared to most stories out there. Nothing illegal or violence, gross stuff, anal, etc.
Categories: MF, MFF, MFFF, Light Bondage, Deception, Manipulation, Seduction, Exhibitionist, Voyeur, Comedy, Reluctance, Sneaky Sex, Cheating, 1 Succubus, Super Natural, Female Masturbation, Role Playing, Domination, Flirting, Woman's Preceptive (Weird, right?) Dirty Talk, and let's say Uniforms.
I know this is too long already. And I deleted a lot of it. One of my many writing issues. I can leave a small snippet of my writing if requested.

I'll try to help

Hey, if you would like I could try to help you edit.

I have a couple of people offering to help me. A few are really busy. Others, I guess don't think we are a good fit. Because I never hear back from them. Which I think is rude. Could at least say, "Sorry. I don't think I'm what you are looking for. But I hope you find what you need.' But I digress.

Do you have any special training in writing? Years of experience? College, work, or otherwise? What services are you offering exactly?

I'm currently in my 3rd year at college working with an English Minor. But I am relatively new to editing outside of the classroom.

Do you have an Editor profile here? Is there anything you are interested in editing? Or disinterested in editing? Are you just correcting grammar? Spelling? Help with the flow of the story? Description? Ideas?

I do have an editor profile. I'm very interested in editing as it well also help me lear and grow. I am okay with editing pretty much anything straight. I can correct grammar, proofread for spelling and if asked I am confident I can help with flow of the story and ideas.

Just remember editing on here is on a voluntary basis. What are you looking for in an editor- someone to find typos? misused words (you mention women's preceptive- I assume you are not talking legal terms and mean perspective for instance!)? advice on story flow?

You said you write mostly vanilla sex and then list a great deal most vanilla loving sexperts would probably ignore! Alarm bells ring when you are approached to look at

grammar, punctuation, spelling, the flow of the story, thoughts on the character's believability and open to any advice not covered here.

Work out exactly what you want- tell an editor if English is not your first language. I'm happy to help someone who has trouble with writing English either because it is not their first tongue, they have dyslexia or another learning disability or if they are open and honest and say they did really bad at school but believe they have a story to tell.

I'm glad that Literotica gives a platform to anyone who wants to write a tale and publish it. I am never going to reply to an author who asks for help 'Firstly, what were your grades for senior English? Secondly, how many post-graduate degrees do you hold- I assume you have at least one undergraduate degree. Thirdly, etc etc etc...

Although I may have been a little snarky in this reply (I'm sorry- I've had one of those days!) it can be really demoralising to agree to edit something when you are asked to 'just check the story flow' to find basically incoherent babble with at least 4 tenses used in each sentence, misused words (and not only homophones such as there/their/they're) and a storyline that doesn't make sense. It can be a great help when approaching an editor also to include the first paragraph to give the editor an idea of what they are in for!
