Taken together, though, they represent a more Republican-leaning playing field than the nation as a whole.
The movement in the poll among voters nationwide since June is concentrated among men (they split about evenly in June, but now 56% back Trump, 40% Biden), those between the ages of 35 and 64 (they tilt toward Trump now, but were Biden-leaning in June) and independents (in June, Biden held a 52% to 41% lead, but now it's a near even 46% Biden to 45% Trump divide).

The overall odds aren't going to be the deciding factor. It's the points spread in battleground states that will do it.

I have said it repeatedly on this forum that there are ONLY 3 STATES IN PLAY this year. The math has been worked out based on who needs what to get to 270.

Those 3 states are Pa, Az, Fl.

The winner MUST take 2 of the 3 to prevail. In every conceivable combination of States EC votes, 2 of those 3 ALWAYS are the deciding factor.


Note that none of those 3 are Mi or Wi. Hence, your "prediction" based on the outdated polling data is worthless.

Interestingly, last FOX News poll I saw was only sampling 24% of Republicans. Wonder what is going on there. I think what's going on at CNN is they don't want to look like they did in 2016 ans lose the confidence of their audience with numbers that are totally phony.
