And why do Democrats keep nominating their wealthiest members to represent them?

I don't think that it's necessarily true that R's make more money than D's. There are plenty of millionaires who are D's, however, on the other end of the spectrum, I can't say that D's equal, or do better than, R's in general when it comes to generating wealth.

Actually, the average registered R does make more than the average registered D.

That may be a function of micro economics in inner cities being graphed for statistical purposes more than anything else.

Or it might be you’re just having a hard time accepting the truth.

A common affliction here.

I tend not to make broad generalizations, such as R's make more money than D's, because they tend to not be true once one gets beyond the personal biases that spawned such a statement.

Wealth can be generated by any individual, regardless of their political affiliation, by application of effort in incremental steps toward an overall goal.

Because they take more from Uncle Sam.

Because blue states are dumb enough to keep taxing their people for red states benefits.

Ya'll should stop doing that, especially considering you're destroying of your major cities/industries. :D

They spend less on keeping up appearances, they save more, and work harder.

They are more likely to belong to church and community organizations for mutual support and networking.

Really? State taxes go to the That state. Please explain?

Blue states tax their residents and then send that tax money over to red states? I think I'm going to have to see an example of that to give it any credence.

If the statistic is correct (didn’t bother with google) then flip the original question.

“Why do people that make more money more frequently become Republicans rather than Democrats?”

I think it has to do with money.

People who don’t have it are quick to want to take it from those who have.

Those who have it prefer to keep it.

The exception to the rule seems to be Hollywood.

I guess when you didn't build that, you don't respect it...

:D

This is actually the sweetest part of the irony; even broke voters need a voice and the voice they pick is always someone with money who eventually leaves their career in public service with...surprise! even MOAR money.

Maybe Trump will actually end up rich, I mean,
all we hear is about how he is lying about his net worth...

;) ;)
