A beautiful paranormal investigator is eager to begin her new show idea 'Phantom Lovers.' She and her new, handsome cameraman set out on their first mission to a spooky hotel room. It was there that a woman claims she was visited by an apparition that made passionate love to her in the middle of the night. But will she find what she is looking for? Or will she just be 'ghosted?'

No.I don't. It just sounds like one to me.

Scooby doo dealt with all kinds of things that go bump in the night. Monsters, demons ghosts, warewolves etc...

To be honest "It slimed me," would take on a while new meaning.

Well, then you are stuck in the '70s. The closest parody would be Ghost Hunters. Since that is what this is loosely based on. Also, you might want to get Grammarly.

Nope! Maybe stop making assumptions about people you don't know.

I thought of Scooby Doo because it wxsits unlike ghosts.

Never watched con artsists scam people out of money to convince them tricks of light was something scary.

Also, you might want to get Grammarly.

I use grammerly when I care about what I write. Posts about ghosts in forums IDGAF!

There is a Lit story a friend wrote that has this theme "ghostly love".

It sounds weird, but it was erotic.

Also..."Ghost" ...who didn't find that movie slightly erotic?

I think you should write it!!!

Why not write 2 versions - one that looks normal but has a sting in the tail (tale?) where it turns out the coincidences are ghost-provided, and one which seems supernatural where it's the cameraman hot to get into the talent's pants.... ;)

I like the original story idea. Kind of paranormal urban fantasy.

I'm not the one making references to 50-year-old shows. There are about 50 others show, movies and stories that would have been a closer compassion. You could have said 'Nancy Drew' and been more accurate.

I have bad news for you. Scooby-Doo isn't real either. I have even worse news about Santa.

Scooby-Doo is about 'watched con artsists scam people out of money to convince them tricks of light was something scary'.
But since I've never watch Ghost Hunter shows I can't speculate on the matter.

So do you just switch Grammarly off when you want to spell things poorly and make everything grammatically incorrect?

I thought Dan Aykroyd getting a ghost blowjob in GhostBusters was slightly erotic. But I'm a little strange.
Thanks for the positive feedback and not comparing it to a cartoon for children and super stoned teenagers.

Sometimes I write alternative endings to my stories but I try not to post the same story twice.

Movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar came out in 2002. Not quite 50 years old yet. Oh and Scoob is coming out this summer.

But reading your description made me think of Scooby doo. Nancy Drew didn't deal with ghosts or the supernatural. BTW Nancy Drew came out in 1930. 90 years ago. But my 50 year old reference upset you because *checks notes* it's old. Alrighty then.

Scooby Doo is a real TV show that exists and has had several versions. Comic books, TV, Movies, Video Games etc... so yes UnpublishedEroticaWriter Scooby Doo does exist.

But since I've never watch Ghost Hunter shows I can't speculate on the matter.

So you want a story to parody something you never watched and know nothing about. Seems Legit.

No. I do what I'm going to do with you. Ignore it so I don't waste time.

I don't know why you took such offense at a simple comment. That's how it works here. People post an idea others comment with their thoughts. That's why it's called a DISCUSSION BOARD.
