Why the left hates Biden/Harris

As of the time of writing, the American left has been collectively retching for almost 24 hours, and I’d like to provide some context for the liberals who are excited to celebrate the “most progressive ticket since FDR” (@ReallyAmerican1). For those of you who aren’t suffering from twitter brain-rot, congratulations, it must be nice out there; but here’s the perspective from our own virtual Pripyat.

So lets take a moment to look at what Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have in common:

They have always been Democrats;Their respective states have voted blue since ’92; and Their most substantial legacy thusfar is the incarceration of Black men by the tens of thousands.

I will concede that Biden has higher numbers on that last point, that being said, Harris is still young. Nothing proposed by Joe ‘shoot ’em in the legs’ Biden, or ‘Copala’ Harris meaningfully changes the conversation about mass incarceration.
