This modern marvel of social justice speak ran on CMT right before Beverly Hills Cops II:

This film has outdated attitudes, language and cultural depictions
which may cause offense today.

Have people already forgotten who Eddie Murphy is?

New Warning:

This program may be offensive to those receiving student aid
and to those who purport to instruct them...

Don't attempt to use your small child as a curl bar.

(Seriously, who has not done that? The kids love it better than a ride at 6-Flags!)

Who seem to sincerely believe they are not obviously so.

The warnings are the warnings. You have the right to turn off the TV if you don't care for certain content.

So real the question is, why are you so triggered by them?

This makes no sense...

I should turn off the TV to avoid politically correct messages?
Isn't their purpose to properly "educate" me that
I am not to enjoy the programming but
to be offended by it...?

And why do I trigger you so?

Maybe you should take
your won wise counsel
and ignore humble me.

I was curious, so I asked. I got my answer: most who consider it an affront would have moved on to another channel.

You view it as an offense to your world view. You seem genuinely offended that that world no longer caters to your needs.

I have small children so display the same trait. Consider yourself ignored.

Big Brother is almost all that can be tuned in, there is a glimmer of hope for Oceania, however.

More bollocks. Anything before 2020 is outdated.

I bet AJ is just a barrel of monkeys to go see movies at the cinema with.

"This popcorn is too dry! They didn't put enough fake melted butter on it. It must be because I'm not a liberal yahoo, I bet. I'm going to go back to the concession stand and demand they sluice my finger food properly, for all the amount I paid for this damn ticket!"

Films broadcast on TV already have disclaimers at the beginning and after any commercial breaks, advising violence, nudity, mature themes, 14+, etc.
I noticed ‘smoking’ being included in some these now too, mostly on NETFLIX.

Don’t recall if AJ clutched his pearls à la Tipper Gore when they started doing this, but who knows how delicate his sensibilities were then. Maybe he just changed the channel then.

Does seem like a silly thing to warn about before an Eddie Murphy joint.

More appropriate use of this warning would be on a placard, hung on a smart looking brass easel, just outside the Grand Old Party’s convention.

This political party has outdated attitudes, language and cultural depictions
which may cause offense today.

There, it fits. Like the flag atop the General Lee those Duke boys drove around.
Even ol’ A ‘Tipper’ J could release his pearls and agree.
