How much effort and thought would you make on the menu and atmosphere for such a dinner. I believe that a well thought out meal, drinks or wine, music and lighting can tell a lot about someone feels about another. It doesn't have to be upscale or pretentious. Tell me what and how you would plan.

Entree---T-bone steak. Very expensive now. The price jumped double.

I know a bit about romance and while it has been awhile its like riding a bike. Your menu sounds wonderful but would you allow me to bring a vegetable side and wine? I like to contribute and promise not to eat too much as to save room for cheese cake.

Beethoven is fine with dinner, maybe some Vivaldi for back round after a delicious meal?

It wasn't really a suggestion that you bring your friends over. It was just a casual expression of the open spirit of this house.

Here is the appetizer--- grilled scallop.
Hostess Rosa sits closer to the kitchen that makes it easier for her to serve. Contrifan and Sneb sit across the table. The two men looked at each other and smiled. Somewhat lukewarm but cordial. I looked up the dictionary in search of the definition of the word " lukewarm". It's defined as "warmish" or " at room temperature*". The two men are at room temperature. Rosa's hubby called from the office and apologized profusely that he cannot make it. So this looks like a dinner for three.

The next presentation would be the big one---entree.
