We should not have to do charity, it is proof positive that
government is not being properly funded and directed.

In a "just society" there would be no need for charity
(or church for that matter since government would be
the paramount power in our lives
), I'm guessing that
like most Socialist types, she truly believes that our
government is a more efficient allocator of funding
than we are as mere hapless individuals...

So let's band together to raise taxes and eliminate
The United Way. It's probably corrupt anyway, some-
thing that can never happen to our government!

Analogies are supposed to be analogous.

Getting back a portion of the future value of a present value dollar extracted at the threat of violence is not a gift to the recipient nor charity from the Ponzi Bureau.

The AOC point of the week is she's being pushed aside at the Convention.;)

AOC's stand in:

"[Chrissy] Teigen tweeted last month that she was through with Goya products after Goya CEO Robert Unanue spoke during a Rose Garden event where President Trump signed an executive order on his Hispanic Prosperity Initiative. 'We’re so blessed to have you as our leader, as we continue to build this country and make it the most prosperous nation in the world,' Unanue said."

Whoopsie!!!

"Teigen posted a cooking lesson for oxtail stew to her Instagram Story account on Thursday. In one of her photos, a can of Goya pigeon peas can be seen in the background, alongside a can of Grace coconut milk and a bottle of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce."

NIMBY!

"My wife and I moved into our house at 1230 Bonita Avenue, two doors down from the Payson House, fourteen years ago. One reason we moved into the area was the abundance of older homes dating from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, offering the charm of an older era of Berkeley, along with the lovely Codornices Creek that runs through the neighborhood.

"The character of the neighborhood is anchored by the Payson House, built in 1889 and the oldest in the area, and by the old live oaks surrounding it. We walk past it every day. We were frankly appalled to learn that the new owner of the Payson House was planning to tear it down, and already had illegally cut down two of the oak trees in order to squeeze ten units onto the lot. It is no small irony that the original owner of the house, William Payson, was a political reformer who fought against the illegal practices and corrupt politics of the late nineteenth century."

Robert Reich on the imposition of Democrat-style diversity on his upscale suburb...

Typical
Good for thee
but not for me...
