Britlad here. Yesterday, I read this:

So, if I understand this news piece correctly, Trump declared that he would terminate social security and Medicare if reelected. As far as I know, the vast majority of Trump's elector are boomers, the kind of people that tend to suffer from chronic health issues.
So, American voters are going to vote en masse for a politician that told them squarely in their face that he would leave them penniless and homeless if they ever dare to get diabetes or heart problems (as almost everyone over 40 does).
Am I getting it right?
