Evening Musical Litsters - Happy weekend!

Thanks for that tip. I like something new.

If you like proggy music check out posts by Haulover and Blind_Justice. They have both turned me on to a lot of neat stuff.

Handley listens to great and wide varied range of music.

Lori listens to wonderful classic rock

Honestly, there are a lot of posters with neat listening habits.

Welcome to the thread.

Good Tiger

More alternative than prog but still good stuff

@Litfan & Haulover:

If you're in the market for a new Pain of Salvation album, they just released one called "Panther". No idea if it's any good though. Not quite my band.

GOOD NEWS - Many thanks!

PoS's "Remedy Lane" is a classic, IMO.

The rest of their early catalog was all pretty similar, all concept albums, all good and just a bit "special". They started getting really imaginative from "Be" onward. It's all brilliant, and some of it is likeable :).

But their albums are all "autobuy", for me.

I once interviewed Daniel - it was supposed to be a 30-minute call, and he went on for an hour and a half. Sadly (and inexcusably) I never published it. It would have been WAY too much trouble to separate the weird BS from anything that made sense. The guy is a very deep thinker, but many of his "conclusions" are just so childishly naive that I'm still shaking my head.

The guy is an insanely talented musician, though.

Panther is the big new release of the month for me. 8/28. Loved In the Passing Light of Day.

I thought Gildenlow was incredible as the fifth live member of Transatlantic. I also loved him in The Sea Within.
