Request for beta readers (SF/fantasy)

Hello, All -

I published a story in January and have since written its follow-up. The sequel is quite a bit different than the original story, both in scope and tone, so I would appreciate some initial, general feedback. The rub is that the stories are 200k+ words altogether, so it would be quite a time commitment.

If you think this might be interesting, spend a few minutes looking through the original post (After the Second Fall). If you are still open, I will provide the updated version of both stories, since quite a few changes have been made since it was originally posted.

What's your idea of the beta-reader's deadline? I mean, 200k is quite a big piece to read through. That might take some days.

I am currently about a quarter through the third and final installment, and I would like to have that roughed out before I publish the second one, just in case something goes awry and I need to make tweaks to the plot, etc. It will probably be 3 more months before I'm to that point, so anything short of that would be perfect.

Well, three months sounds like a very comfortable time schedule. So, I guess, you have another volunteer here
