It always amuses me when someone who knows jack shit about war, other than what they've seen in a video while sitting on their ass in a comfortable chair, tries to make an analogy of it. You might think it clever, but it shows your ignorance.

Please, stick with your manufactured homey tall tales and leave the war analogies to those who have been there.

Another thing that is entertaining is someone who has been part of and taken the benefits of a Socialist organization (a labor union for example) but decries Socialism and supports those who wish to do away with all of it, including unions.

Being a Union member at the time and place I joined was the right thing to do. A well managed Union is like a well managed Democracy ...or Republic

1)I didn't say WWII, I said WAR, any fucking war. You and i had a discussion about going to Vietnam not to long ago and you tapdanced about how you wouldn't volunteer because it was a waste, ya, ya, ya and now you say you were only 17 when the last combat troops left the country? WTF was that all about? Like I said, leave it to those who know what it's about AND HAVE BEEN THERE to use it as an analogy. 2) A UNION IS A SOCIALIST ORGANIZATION. Ask any fucking conservative in the last 50 years. I know what unions support. I've been a union representative and still support them. Unions were the reason for the growth of the American middle class and the decimation of them is the reason the middle class is disappearing. But that doesn't address your two-faced stance on unions. Metaphorically speaking, you took the bennies with one hand while flipping them the bird with the other.
