I don't know if its on my end or Literotica is broken. I am having problems posting a new story. The copy paste is not working and when I type in the tabs it is not showing what I am typing until the 5th letter. Anyone else having this issue or know why its happening?

Well, first, the submission text box on the submission page is just a simple text box and does not recognize a tab character.

What other problems are you having?

Usually, authors use the copy and paste method to paste their text into the submission box from their word processor.

The whole posting process is buggy for me.

I cant put in a description and I need to paste 5 or 6 times before the story is there and when I do, I still cant write anything else in any of the boxes.

Microsoft Edge issue

I switched browser and its fine now. Microsoft Edge seems to hate Literotica.

Which version of Microsoft Edge are you using? The new version should be mostly the same as Chrome. Old versions of Edge will probably not be supported for too long since the new version is totally different, but it was working recently as far as we knew.

I just tried copying and pasting into all of the fields on the story submit form using the latest Edge and I wasn't able to find the issue, but your setup might be different. If you can let me know what OS and browser version you're using, I can test more.

Thank you for the report. :D

I have similar issues on my desktop but not my laptop. I reported it but didn't get back anything that I could figure out how to do in my state of lack of being able to keep up with the unnecessary changes flipping in on computer technology. I have Firefox on the desktop too, so I just go there to submit (as I did this morning). When it gets to where nothing works from my computers, I'll just stop submitting here.

I have made three submissions in the last three days - copy and paste from Word 2010 using Firefox and Windows 7.

I have had no problems at all.

Microsoft did and update and my computer did the same. Firefox uploaded it and it all worked out.

Microsoft Edge is a botched clone of the Chromium open source browser. Of course, Microsoft never gets anything right the first time. One reason I quit using Microsoft browsers, the other they are all over programmed to the point of being useless.

FireFox is a good choice, but there are better out there.

Stay away from Google Chrome though.

Almost any other Chromium knockoff will be good. Personally, I use Brave. Fast and it always converts http to https on the fly. About the only thing it doesn't have is a built-in VPN.

Zeb, why is Chrome bad?

They, Google, like Microsoft Edge, collect your browsing habits and histories. Even if you use the Private pages option.

With those browsers, when you go “private” or “incognito” all you’re doing is hiding your history from anyone else using your computer.

There’s been cases where people have been sacked because they accessed porn through their work computer. They thought private meant the work network wouldn’t see what they were accessing.

That's why I mentioned that Private wasn't really Private. You want private use a VPN and a Proxy server. Although with https you do eliminate snoopers from seeing what you are doing as https encrypts your communications with the site.
