I've posted about the DOD's Office of Net Assessment in the past. When it's all said and done, we're going to find out that a big part of the conspiracy against the President, and thus the American people, was funded by taxpayer money flowing through this office:

Grassley Presses Pentagon Think Tank Over Relationship With ‘Spygate’ Professor

Sen. Chuck Grassley pressed the Pentagon’s internal think tank, the Office of Net Assessment (ONA), on Thursday for details about its relationship with Stefan Halper, the former professor who served as a confidential source for the FBI during its probe of the Trump campaign.

Grassley began asking ONA in 2019 to explain its relationship with Halper, a former University of Cambridge professor who worked alongside the former head of MI6 at the storied British college.

Grassley’s inquiry spurred the Defense Department’s inspector general to audit Halper’s work for ONA, which produces reports about long-term military strategy in hotspots across the globe.

Records uncovered by The Daily Caller News Foundation in March 2018 showed that ONA paid Halper more than $1 million from 2012 through 2017, a period which spanned Halper’s undercover work for the FBI.

During the 2016 campaign, an FBI confidential human source identified as Halper met with and secretly recorded Trump campaign aides Carter Page, George Papadopoulos and Sam Clovis.

you lost me at 2

The attack on the presidency of Donald Trump is an attack on the 63 million Americans who voted for him, and the rest of America who still support and defend our Constitutional order.

Truth is, the unelected administrative state is at war with the American majority and would love to substitute our preferences for President and policy with themselves and their policies. We saw this all through the impeachment hearings when one disgruntled bureaucrat after another came forward with nothing more the policy disagreements with the President, the policies he ran on, we endorsed, but they hated.

They hate the private civil society who they consider less intelligent, less educated than themselves, and less entitled to the wealth, power, and property we've acquired through hard work and innovation, in an economic system that values less policy wonks, and political/social educations.

200 million people can't be wrong.

I'm continually struck by the rhetoric "this war on Trump is a war on American people" that I so often keep bumping into.

Why shouldn't they try to remove a democratically elected president, if they have high suspicions that he's dodgy?

Because there is a constitutional process for removing an elected President and it doesn't involve a conspiracy of lies, sabotage, and criminal activity within the DOJ, FBI, CIA. The American people are the true sovereigns in the United States. They and they alone have the right to determine who becomes President of the United States. The only role for the unelected bureaucracy who do not like who the American people have done is to resign and run for office themselves. Their job is to shut up and obey the lawful orders of the President, no matter who he is.

.

The attack on the dubious presidency of Donald Trump is also an attack on BEHALF OF the 66 million Americans who voted against him, and the rest of Americans who still support and defend our constitutional order.

66 M > 63 M.

And yourself, being a Russian, cannot possibly be counted on as defending our (and not YOUR) constitutional order. Your president just got handed a permanant stay in power by the voters of your country. Stop digging into our politics and we'll stay off your message boards, deal?

That's an explanation that makes a lot of sense. And the meme is appropriately used to express your frustration, especially since this is a leisure board.
I read it differently than if I read it in a newspaper article.

What's striking about the last months tho, is that your guys' press on Both sides has become so Orwellian, we're bombarded with extremist ideological memes 24/7. Bobobingo or "teh racists" 24/7.

This is funny. When I click on the link to the records of payments in the article, it opens another Daily Caller article with no source named for any records, except for the Steele dossier. That gets cited, but everything else is from unnamed sources.

What was it that Trump tweeted about unnamed sources and fake news?

Trumps sources:

I know it
You know it
We all know it

The attack on ...

... impeached, soon to be ex President and Russian asset, Donny The Chump that has been interfered with by Moscow Mitch, BillyBarr and Lyin'Lindsey should soon escalate to the inescapable conclusion of his utter and total guilt.
