Ahhh gotcha. I guess they're having fireworks for the 4th at the fairgrounds here. You just stay in your car. lol I remember visiting Toronto on Canada Day... I could see the fireworks from my hotel window... it was nice. :)

I feel like you can still have them with rules as such, I think this area was just like "we've had it trying to get you to follow rules." There were certainly people lighting them in backyards though.

Yes.. they're allowing individuals to put them off here now. Which wasn't allowed in the past. I'm not sure if I want to do that or just take the short drive to the fair grounds. I know I need to do something to beat the melancholy. I am having family up though for a small gathering, so that will be nice.
