There's a nuance missing. The world must be wars 'for liberating' as the rule holds when it's by outside forces, mostly or heavily assisted.

You can't possibly 'liberate' say, North Koreans as it stands for now, not anymore than you can 'rescue' members of destructive cult. Not without lengthy and painful therapy -- with can't be forced. However, in rare individual cases people, and even nations can escape, or attempt it leading about as likely to suicide as liberation. And the positive course is, indeed, almost impossible without any outside help or at least support. The difference is nontrivial and very easy screwed.

Why 'Americans' are hated? My answer would be, for lack of attention to detail and nuance, and axe cut black-and-white morality that do damage more often than not.

We Brits do. We have Falkland dead remembered on our war memorials and maimed veterans in our streets. We cared more about them than the US did for many years about the Vietnam dead and veterans.

As for Muslims? They kill more of each other and are killed by others now more than any who die in any attacks on the West (including 9/11). Many more Muslims die from Police brutality in India each month than blacks by police in the US in a year. The Rohingya of Myanmar have been killed in their thousands and millions forced into exile.

The Muslims of the Middle East hate Britain and France for the arbitary nation border drawing after WW1 and the Balfour Declaration that created Israel. They hate the US for its support of Israel and for Iraq 1 and 2 and the sanctions on Iran. But they kill each other in Yemen daily.

Hatred of the US (and Britain and France) is based on history that still causes conflicts today. We cannot rewrite that history to make people friends.
