Bass said a couple of demonstrators, including himself, began to climb onto the hood of the car until the crowd was safely out of the way. That’s when the police car started to accelerate.

“He just floored it. He went super fast,” Bass said to the Free Press. “Me and a couple of my other organizers that were with me, just went flinging off. We went flying off. He ran over a couple people’s arms, feet.”

In a statement to the Detroit News, the police department said the driver was attempting to leave the scene after a rear back window had been “busted out."

It's an intriguing issue, because someone who owes billions can be easily manipulated or blackmailed by his lenders.

I'm in two minds about it:
--On one hand, having a conflict of interest re foreign banks is a no-no, but Germany has always been aligned with US
--In theory, national businesses would be preferable, but it's not like Wall Street & US banksters & US corporations are working for America and Americans, are they?

The thing with the motor vehicles really puzzles me. I've seen that video where they try to stop an 18-wheeler. Some of them were on the roof of the cab. I can't imagine what they are thinking. It's a suicide mission. Also, surrounding any number of other motor vehicles. Honestly, if I were behind the wheel and subject to that type of threat, I would give a brief warning, and then it's pedal to the metal. It's me or them, and I'm going to win. I wouldn't blink an eye. Seriously anyone dumb enough to put their body in front of a motor vehicle in that situation deserves what they get. Don't they know that?
