Now that things are opening...

I am not into large enclosed spaces with people. No to indoor malls, concerts. No to large crowds of people.

Don't mind curb side shops. All things outdoors. Enjoy take out and will continue with that.

i happily go grocery shopping because most people around here seem to be taking it seriously enough to at least wear a mask and not stand right next to you in line, but i have no interest in going out to eat after never even once seeing any of the shits around here wearing masks while serving food.

i've also taken to carrying my knife with me when i go out because people are assholes. also, having a knife on hand is just really useful at times.

  • I won't go to malls. But then I didn't before CV struck so that's no change.
  • I holding off on eating out because things are still in flux and I'm in the "at risk" category.
  • I;m barely holding it in check at the dam gas station because they won't take my money for gas unless I'm wearing a mask when I hand it over. WTF? If I'd spit on the money, they'd still take it but if I deign to breathe in their atmosphere I'm Typhoid Mary?
  • And of course I nearly brain dead after a week of writing like a fiend so none of that matters anyway.

Fuck, I'm tired. I'd probably feel more alive this morning if I were a zombie. And the muse isn't done with me yet. Honest, sweetie, I think I have a headache...

Masks are mandatory in public here and everyone seems to be voluntarily practicing social distancing.
I am going to visit my mum but restrictions are still in place, went to the dentist and in a few weeks going up North.
Interestingly enough Trudeau's popularity has increased due to his handling of the pandemic.

Been out and about, doing pretty much what I did prior to COVID-19 ( and through out it), though I wear mask when out. More to show I am trying to protect others, than for any real need on my part. I can list every person I have interacted with in the past two months...
Am up north and plan on staying up north for the foreseeable future....:D

I plan on tripling my distance requirements from Deplorables who go to Trump rallies.

My lifestyle hasn't changed much since COVID, the only real changes are not going to an afternoon movie every know and then, and eating out occasionally.

I wear a mask now, finally got a thin one that's easy to breath. I still wash my hands and don't touch my face.

No one at work has been sick in any form or fashion since late February and early March. Several people had presumed COVID, but lack of testing resources prevented a definite diagnosis, but their doctors seem to think we all had in back then, being front line and all.

I shop more online, cook more, and fuck the wife more.

I have a road trip coming up. Usually when I do this I use hotels whenever and wherever I might decide to stop. I'm wondering now whether hotels or restaurants will even be open in large numbers let alone be safe. I'm thinking of renting a motor home for the trip and taking advantage of BLM and private campgrounds along the way.

I shop early in smaller stores for food to miss the line. Wear a mask to shops but not if the sidewalk is empty. Stand upwind or at a good distance from people outside my bubble. I mostly work in isolation. I particularly avoid teens and old people, because neither group seems to give a shit

ETA I will do anal but only if you're 2m away v v

hey ...

what will I do --?

whatever pleases me and or gives me pleasure...

what will i not do --?

whatever does not please me or gives me pleasure I will NOT do.

as to why I feel this way about what I will or what I won't --, it pleases me

Same thing I've been doing which is pretty much nothing different from what I was doing before all this. I have a mask in vehicle but only used when they make me.

Derpy changed his tune from being the WuHan Warrior to ^^THIS^^.

I do everything available that I normally did. I don't do bars, but I rarely did before. Bar areas were a little wild at the moment. Pent up demand. They're closed most places now. I'll probably give it a week or two after the next re-opening before I bother with those areas

we're shopping less frequently and if the place looks busy we'll find another place, not visiting and try to dissuade others from visiting unless they'll wear masks&distance, and that includes family members.

we wear masks when out and about, use disinfectant wipes before getting back in the vehicles, still washing our hands a lot (but then working outdoors we do a lot of that anyway), and wiping down surfaces/shopping with disinfectant wipes, use the phone and email more.

not eating out in restaurants (pick-up only), not visiting bars, not shopping unnecessarily (i am craving a goodwill visit as i love finding bargains) and generally just keeping a distance from anywhere busy. the mask-wearing's improved in walmart, rising from maybe 10% to 50% but there're still enough selfish bastards around happy to spread any viral load they may be carrying. not going to parties, any gatherings, or shlepping around the counties or states.

his ma'am has just started reattending church (their first service for bodies was last week) and wants to visit with her bestie. the church did all they could, with every other pew empty and only 2-3 bodies per pew being used, no hymnals/prayer books and no passing around of the plate, masks compulsory, social distancing required, hand sanitiser desired. and then she went up and hugged someone anyway.

so, apart from that, been busy as hell outdoors with growing veggies, mowing, other outdoor chores that crop up.

the whys? all about protecting people we love, ourselves, and people we don't even know until we have anything better that'll offer that protection.

Funny, 150 years ago, the outlaws wore masks.

Today, they don't.

Reckon I've become an outlaw.

Go figure . . . .
