Fuzzy thank you for your comment and the recommendation of news from real sources and not our fake ones and yes that include FOXX. It too is mostly political and not news. Practically every country has only the Government News and you don't see any of them attacking their leaders. You know what will happen to our fake reporters once the country really goes communists. I see you aren't an American and many countries are run by leftist forms of government and not use to being as free as we are (or use to be). Obama will most likely go down in history as one of our worst presidents. The trouble with Trump is he isn't a politician and one of the "boys" and has a habit of speaking his mind and telling things as they are. It upsets a lot of people in both parties that make a good living out of politics rather than business. And he doesn't take crap from other governments even allies. A man like that steps on a lot of toes. Most Americans wish he wouldn't step on toes, but kick more ass.

Can you point out one good thing about the Communists or Fascist governments? What about yours? How are your taxes. As high as our Democrats want to make ours?

By the way if you will note Bush Jr. kept his mouth shut the whole 8 years that Obama used him as a whipping boy. Just like McCain and Romney, Bush took money from George Soros who runs the Democratic Party in this country. Once Trump was in office then Bush bad mouthed the government. The other two threw their elections, after all money is far more important than service to your country, ask Hillary Clinton. Bush was just another Copperhead or Rhino as they are called.

Trump was right about bringing business back to not only this county but for those other countries who have opt for slave labor over their own people to take their jobs back. The Chinese are smart, they know they can underbid anyone because of their slave labor and when they move into a country they do not use native help, but bring their own. That is why Italy is so bad under this sickness now, the area it came into was run by the Chinese. The world has come to a stand still because of two things. The Chinese sickness and the fact that just about every country in the world, including yours, is pretty much owned and dependent on the Chinese for supplies, etc. What they couldn't take by arms they took by economics. Smart people. Trump was right, but it is a bit too late to take his warnings now.

As disgusted as I am at both major parties, I can't ignore the imminent threat to public health and safety from having a President actively encourage remedies from a position of authority that do far more harm than good.

It's probably 25th Amendment time, but that would leave Pence in office. In any case, even as disturbed as I am about many things about Biden, I can't risk leaving Trump in office when people could literally die because of it. That would put their blood on my hands.

You are the fool if you actually think the above to be true. Every news organisation has a bias, aimed at their viewership/readership. Canada is not different, some lean conservative, others more liberal.Though, most while slating in one direction or the other, tends to vet the actual content for confirmation of the source or fact. US one are no different, with the exception of Fox.

Doubtful, I think history will put him right up there with FDR. To me it doesn't matter where history places him. I will say this, and I have other posts that verify it, I have respect for Obama, but I don't like or dislike him. He made mistakes ( as all Presidents or world leaders do, no one person is perfect, or right 100% of the time) but he presented and upheld the office of President of the United States as it should be.

Yes Trump has done all of the above, and it will not be forgotten when he is gone by the US allies he has pissed and shitted on. The US through Trump has shown that the alliances built up over the past 70 or so years can mean nothing, if a Presidents decides to not honor those commitment. It shows the world, that even the US Congress will bow to the will of the one, which is the exact opposite of what your founding fathers tried to establish. :mad:

I am a member of another website, which is not political, nor is political discussion allowed. However on that site a friend of mine in the US compared his take home pay, after taxes, health insurance etc etc, to mine. Given we work in the same field, and make about the same money, I had more net dollars left then he did after exchange.

Yes we pay taxes, and they are higher than in the US, but we also use those dollars for things like "free health care" social safety nets, a whole bunch of programs to ensure a high quality of life, among all citizens. Maybe that is one reason Canadians rate themselves happier than their American counterparts, and why we have a higher average life expectancy than our American cousins.

The world has come to a standstill because of a Viral pandemic. One that has affected the whole planet. Did Canada take the rights steps, nope, was Canada properly prepared, nope. Is our Government responsible, yep. Still even with all the Canadian fuck ups, the US is even worse off.

Of course China is manufacturing powerhouse, cheap labour, cheap operating cost, little environmental controls. All I can say is, if you have something in your home that says "Made in China" you are just as complicit as the rest of us are for wanting something, at the cheapest possible price.

The rise of China as an economic powerhouse is nothing new, ever since Nixon opened the door this has been coming. The demand for more, and cheaper was not driven by the Chinese, it was driven by the western consumer. You can't really blame China for capitalizing on it. From my perspective it doesn't bother me, which country has the largest economy. :cool:

What total and utter horseshit. Obama is easily one of the best presidents of the last fifty years. Do you remember how bad things were when he took office? Bush Junior had left things in a complete mess, both domestically and abroad. Obama had to clear up a huge mess, with the economy on the verge of collapse. He wasn’t perfect and he made mistakes, but he did a pretty good job as far as I can see. He handed over a strong and growing economy, which Trump then spent three years trying to take all the credit for.

I've read some crap on these threads, but your assertion is one of the daftest things I've ever seen.

Buddy you are right about this. We aren't in the minority, just the people in charge are so corrupt like the leaders you worship that it is hard to overcome them. But it can and will happen. At least in a communist world you don't have to worry about elections. People who vote strictly for a party are jerks and no one should hold office more than two terms and no judge should be in office like royalty for life. You are right about those things. No country in the world was fully ready for this disaster thanks to one man. The leader of China.
