One source that I had some success with was the Silverdaddies website. There’s a basic level of membership that permits to post a profile explaining your interest for others to view and make contact. This basic level allows you to search for guys in your area and to send messages. Paid membership allows unlimited messages and enhanced search options. I’ve done both levels, and found that the basic level was fine to make initial contacts. It wasn’t an “instant” solution for me, but allowed the opportunity to screen potential partners and make a few successful connections.

And much better than Craigslist back in the “good old days”...lol.

adam4adam - the ads are just annoying. You will get alot of winks/responses from guys you know are just not legit. I have joined and cancelled three times. I did start messaging someone I really wanted to meet in person but he flaked out, just not worth all the annoying ads and suspicious winks/responses.

silverdaddies - I like the vibe of SD the most, I have done both the basic and premium services and both are good although I prefer the premium as its pretty cheap. Meetups and such seem to happen at a slower pace.

squirt.org - Seems like the most action in the denver/boulder area. Things can happen pretty quickly (when I first joined, I was sucking someone the same day and I was being selective/discrete)

I recently tried A4A, and was similarly dissatisfied. It's been a few years since I looked at Doublelist, and it was pretty thin back then. I haven't looked at it recently.
I am currently on SD, and have been on there on and off for the past few years. We seem to have very similar situations — understanding wives and not keen on hook-ups. In my experience, the 'not into just a hook-up' is the biggest hurdle. I've met with several guys from SD and I've made clear in both my SD profile and in initial contacts that I seek a FWB — with equal emphasis on the "friendship' part. For me this is of great importance. It does cull out a majority of the ones who might contact me — or who make it clear they only want casual sex. But I think you need to be very clear in your profile what you really seek, some of the non-sexual things you enjoy, etc.

Hook-ups are obviously much easier to find — but not fulfilling to me. Good luck, and kudos to you and your wife for being rational and understanding of each other. That alone is worth a bag of gold!
