There was a time when a joke was funny, people could joke about what they wanted, with caution and no one took offence, these days it seems everyone is becoming afraid of saying anything. As a result no one will say anything about anything and the world will spiral into a sad frightened place full of people with sad faces, living in sad places. If people cannot control their own emotions, then they have to start controlling other peoples behaviour.
I fear for the future of our world, when common sense and humour went hand in hand.

You poor bastard! I can't imagine not being able to find humour in anything other than ripping on the cliché butts of puerile jokes.

Several of our noted comedians have come forth with the same lament
especially when it comes to the college campus and its snowflake culture
(and keep in mind that this is the bread and butter of upcoming comedians)
and despite what the president of MENSA above just said about things being funny,
that has nothing to do with things being actually funny and woke culture finding offense.

They have tried to cancel comedy as surely as they cancelled COPS.
What passes for funny to them is now how nasty you talk about
groups you despise, like conservatives, the religious,
Republicans and conservative news/entertainment.

Then should you do the same thing to them...

You're not funny, you're a hater,
a -phobe of some sort.

:(

I've tried to watch some of the comedian specials on HBO and Cinemax
and what you get is a bunch of minority comedians ripping on whites
as if white were the new Pollocks, blondes and Mexicans...
Even white comedians tend to attack such symbols
as their out-of-touch parents.
I stopped watching.

The only thing close to funny is Ridiculousness
and that's stuff that's usually self-filmed and
with very poor situations/outcomes...
Modern 3,000 Stooges.

You sure are upset about COPS getting canceled. I mean I know white trash needs entertainment, too but surely there is something else for you.
You're also ignorant AF so there's that, too.

There will always be laughter, but getting paid to induce laughter is a vanishing prospect. People will eventually relearn free DIY methods of entertainment, such as music with homemade instruments and storytelling.

Or posting you cat on catnip videos on YouTube,
although it's probably only a matter of time
before things like that are identified and
label as cruelty to animals - not funny.
