Oh I did use a reference picture ( long since deleted from my computer now) but I had to make a few changes: in the reference picture the mans left hand was underneath the woman's left leg, but because of how I positioned him I was forced to have it under her right leg. Also, I had to change the direction of his tongue, again because of my poor positioning, his head was to high.

None of this matters to me, I like to make a picture my own rather than just recreating exactly an existing picture.

Duplicating a photo is alright for practice, but if there's nothing new brought to the image, then why not simply show the photo.

Thanks. I'm not as productive as I'd like to be, life gets in the way, you know how it is. I may do some simplified, less time consuming cartoon style pictures next.

1. The Visual. Artists' Corner is for LITsters to showcase their own original works. That i snot to say that we do not want to see outside work and enjoy/discuss that.
It would be best to start your own new thread.

2. It is bad form to "hi jack" someone else's thread (Funit, in this case) with other work without permission or requests.

Nice drawing. I guess I think of it more as an artistic montage than a cartoon (IMO as a writer/musician who cannot draw), and the Fab Four is instantly recognizable.
