You've never experienced it first-hand, ergo, it doesn't exist!It wasn't that hard.
The above quote illustrates where white privilege takes place. The post describes the mindset of the two different drives. One realizes he was speeding and is going to have to pay a fine the other sees himself as a victim.
The statistics do not support the concept that when black people are pulled over for speeding that the police kill them. Not that it doesn't happen but statistically it is rare enough to be on par with death by lighting strike. But the fake news and socialist power mongers fuel the fear and the anger in order to keep their knee on the neck of black folks. So far it has been working pretty good but more and more black people are waking up to the fact that the democratic party has exploited race in order to keep black society in poverty and economic slavery.
DPshelly showing her racist ignorance again...ok Shelly show a link to those statistics. Right now the chance of a black person dying from an interaction with the police in the US is 1:1000. The chance of being struck by lighting is 1:700,000.
I can back up both those statistics, you show me your....

Ogg.. thats not exactly stop and search though is it?
I have also interacted with the police in my youth, on one occasion i was stopped for driving at 33 MPH in a 30 zone - which i dispute because with a police car behind you, as a youth you stick below the speed limit. the bit of conversation of interest -
Cop - 'what speed do you claim you were doing'' ?
me ''less than 30''
Cop, ''it was 33''
me '' i doubt it''
cop '' tough shit son, when it goes to court who will the magistrates believe - you or serving police officer''
on anothe occasion i was stopped, again driving a car -
cop '' is this your vehicle'' ?
me '' yes''
cop ''whats the registration number''
Me '' its on the number plate''
cop '' really son, watch your mouth''
cop takes reg number radios it in, it comes back as a motor bike!
me ''do you want to nick me? after all you could try to convince the magistrate that this is a motorbike''
the point being - even cops have a day by day back story - like most humans really.
During my work though (previous life stuff) i have met some complete dick head cops upto and including chief constable level.
About Sean's "fuck the pigs" and "I'm an anarchist" posturing.
And I envision a different picture, should Cops ever stop him.
Remember also when Lance started making fun of his "If you have a blacklist, I want to be on it" siggy,
given Sean's numerous complaints to management?
He took it down the next day.
F. hilarious.

In 1967 I bought a new Sunbeam Alpine. Cute little car. It didn't like to start in rainy weather or in cold weather. I lived in a suburb south of Chicago. In the winter, I'd wake up at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning, put on a pair of pants, a shirt, some boots and my winter jacket, and went out to the parking lot to start the Sunbeam. I usually just sat in it for 20 minutes to get it warm. One night, after about five minutes, I decided to take a little ride. I drove to the next major street west of where I lived and turned north. After driving for a few miles, I decided to turn around in the parking lot of a two-story building where new furniture was sold. I was the only car on the road and the entrance to the lot was a semi-circle. I turned right, drove slowly to the exit, and came to a full stop. Then I turned left and started to drive back to my apartment. very soon the red and blue lights of a police car were visible in my mirror. I pulled to the side of the road and stopped. I rolled down the window as the officer approached my car. He asked me for my driver's license. I explained that my driver's license was in my wallet which was in my bedroom. I didn't take my wallet with me at that hour because when I went outside my intention was merely to start my car and sit in it in the parking lot. He asked if I had any identification on me. I said that I was wearing an identification bracelet that had my first and last name on it and my car registration was in the glove box. I showed him the registration paper and then handed him my bracelet. He said that he could write a ticket for driving without a license. I told him that I knew that would be a waste of time because when I went to court and showed the judge that I do have a license which would not expire until June of the next year, my case would be dismissed. The cop agreed. I asked him why he stopped me. He told me that there had been some recent burglaries in the furniture store. I offered to open the trunk of the Alpine to show him that I didn't have any furniture in it, but he said that wouldn't be necessary.I have been stopped for a stop and search by the Police only once.
I was returning after Christmas with my parents to a new-to-me flat in Southsea. Normally I would have gone by train to Portsmouth Harbour and used a taxi. But because of engineering works the last train terminated at an earlier station where there were no taxis.
I was carrying a large suitcase and had about a mile to walk. I had never walked from that station to the flat but I had a street plan of Portsmouth and Southsea.
After about half a mile I wasn't sure which road to take. I stopped by a lighted shop window to consult the street plan. A police car screeched to a halt beside me and the two policemen jumped out.
They wanted to know what I was doing and wanted to look in my suitcase. I opened it for them to show the clean washing my mother had folded for me.
"Is that your electric razor, sir?"
"No. It's my travelling alarm clock," I replied.
They had stopped me because the lighted shop window was a jewellers.
They asked if I had any identity documents on me. I produced my dockyard pass with my photo and rank.
They saluted me. Why not?
My dockyard pass identified me as having the courtesy rank of Major, Royal Marines.
They gave me a lift to my flat.
Ask half of the forum.
I'm NOT making it up.
You were probably away at the time,
but he WAS sporting a "If you have a blacklist, you'd better put me on it"
and he took it down right after Lance started making fun of it & his snitching on posters.
Funniest shit!
His perpetual anger towards law enforcement could mean an extensive criminal record and an abundance of unsavory interactions with law enforcement.![]()
Here's some factoids for you:
There were 89 cops killed in the line of duty in 2019.
He wishes!!!
I think he's one of the most law-abiding citizens,
and he'd wet his pants if cops stopped him.
He doesn't even use his N.Ireland/British citizen passport, he chucked it out for the all-British one.
Did anyone else notice how this thread suddenly became all about Sean and his tales of suffering at the hands of the cops while simultaneously promoting his lifelong habit of virtue and orderliness?
Where in this thread have I posted about suffering at the hands of the cops, Tim?
So you're saying you haven't? Ever?
Must be all that white privilege you have going on that's saving your ass then.
Where in this thread have I posted about suffering at the hands of the cops, Tim?
Answer the question Sean. If you dare.
