One can see that boycotts didn't work, silent protesting didn't work, kumbaya isn't working, what are folks supposed to do? Why are people surprised? Lay down, take it, and roll over, rinse, wash, and repeat? No I'm not inciting violence, but one would be stupid to not understand why folks are enraged at the moment.

It's simple, hold rotten cops accountable and people wouldn't have to protest and be fueled with rage. People are tired.

I for one would say stop voting for police funding. Put them out of work. Force police departments to filter out these racist psychopaths. Start over from bare scratch.

but a distinction needs to be made between normal protesters, and the antisocials within their midst.

But so do Australian and NZ Police.
