A Passing Interest - Redux

I remember that lone cool breeze while working in a tobacco patch as being a tease. Puppy snuggles always make everything better... they really do. :rose: And that last makes me smile considering I told my father a similar thing today.

I grew up in SE Georgia and spent my summers ages of 12-16 cropping 'baccuh in 95 degree, 95 percent humidity -- saunas without cedar, but smelly tobacco leaves and carcinogenic insecticides. The lone breeze of the afternoon, not cool but slightly less boiled-syrupy, was tantalizing in the mythological sense: it made the rest of the day feel that much more hellish.

So, yeah, I see your point. But if the work outside is more voluntary, less arduous, and this likely isn't the only cool breeze before dusk, it's a refresher, not a tantalizer.

Here's my puppy, a black Lab named Hartley, enjoying the cool kitchen hardwood.

Take care, and enjoy the rest of the short week.:rose:

I haven't run in two weeks now.😑
Guess the Isolation Floundering has finally begun...

So, tell me, patient viewers, what small thing makes you happy?

There is a hiking/jogging trail not to far from me that I get out on once or twice a week. Most of the people I see there appear to be very happy to be outside and to see other people out too ...at a distance.

That's a very attractive sports bra you're wearing btw.

that make me happy, these:
My garden, the water, and traveling with this guy.

Ooohhh... beautiful tomatoes!! I just finished planting my raised beds and helped my parents plant their garden. And your puppers is adorable, what's his name?

You forgot to mention the mild buzz and itching due to the damned 'bacca juice. Ugh..and the bugs. *shivers* I'd rather pick a whole corn field than stake tobacco ever again.

Oh, my heart. Hartley is giving that, "I didn't mean to eat your shoes and shit on your newspaper, it just happened. I'm so cute.. cuddles?" Is she a black lab?

That sounds nice. I'm afraid all of my jogging is done on the treadmill or around the yard chasing my kiddos.

If I wore this as a sports bra, I'd have a bruised chin and black eye. Lol. But thank you! It's called a bralette .

I don't need magic
I need your arms around me
At 3:29am when the dark is too much,
I need you to be real when nothing else is.

I can almost feel the goosebumps in this photo from the sudden chill of fingertips tracing your hips as the arms encircle you.

Love it! As much as it displays your more obvious assets, I really love the teasing way is highlights and hides you ink at the same time.In B&W the veil (?) almost looks like smoke.

And, since you already showed me the girls, how can I not show you George, born 22MAR:

George.

I am going to sound like a broken record but I cannot help but to stare at your images. You and your compositions are absolutely stunning.

I think we all can relate to those moments when the darkness comes to swallow us whole.

Press a kiss to my bare shoulder while you stand behind me. Graze those beautiful lips of yours towards my neck and I promise there will be goosebumps. And then I would jump your bones and have my way with ya.

I so wish I could hold you and comfort you, make you feel like the princess you are

Thank you, hon. It's a quote I found some time ago on Tumblr and saved for just the right photo. Me? A princess? More like a foul mouthed milkmaid.

Interesting choice of words.

Love the photo and how the view through the mesh varies

Thanks, Todger. :rose: And sorry I haven't answered your message yet, I'm failing at replying to messages these days.

Beautiful.

Thanks, Garfield.

Would you believe it's actually a swim suit coverup? Seriously, that's what it is.. And as always, thanks for the kind words about my bits on display.

Woohoo! Awww...little Georgie is such a cutie. 😍😍 Thank you so much for sharing his picture, Tans!

 Thank you, hon. I just try to do what I think is appealing...maybe I watched too many B&W films in my younger years. Lol

Funny; that's the way I'd imagined it, also. :)

Your

...pics in b/w are gorgeous!

He goes by Nuke named for a character in a movie. And yea I got an early start on the garden I probably have 200 on the vine plus that in peppers. This rain is helping.

You remain absolutely gorgeous and stunningly creative

Quarantine has us all a little unmotivated.

I hope that you feel better soon my wonderful rose.

My word, that is divine. I always do enjoy a visit to your thread JAF.

 Thank you, lil Raven. It's always a pleasure when you stop by for a visit!

You must live in a warmer climate than me. Plantings should have started at the end of April and instead they started two weeks ago.

Thanks, hon. I'm feeling better than I have in months, but the drive to run still hasn't returned. Maybe it's time for a new workout regime.

Hope you're taking care of yourself.:rose:

Sometimes, there are no poems or thought provoking lines. Sometimes, it's just raw emotion caught on film.

Sometimes raw emotion is the provocateur that allows you to be so captivating on film. Unchained raw emotion can be beautiful even in it's stormiest climate.
Beautiful!

Can't remember what it was called, but the dusty pesticide would sprinkle all over you if it hadn't rained in a while, which it always managed not to do in SE Georgia summers. The dust made us cough and gag. Just one more devil's pleasure in the ass end of Georgia. Rather than pick another single row of tobacco ever, I'd pick a whole patch of okra naked. And if you've never picked okra, imagine rolling in pink fiberglass insulation.

Yeah, Hartley knows she's a cutie. We adopted her from a rescue shelter where I volunteer. She's a Lab mix, smaller than a pedigree, and if you look at her head from the right angle, it's all terrier. Seems to have a pro model's sense of the camera. Here's another that I'd intended to be spontaneous, and she made frameworthy.

That hint of rosy color is perfectly placed. Anywhere else but over your heart, and under the mesh, and it could have been just a smidge garish.

You're lovely, of course. And the pose is so erotic in the best sense. The fabric is sheer, but you manage to shroud your left (heart) breast, while your right is exposed as your hand pulls down drape and panties. One hand gives, the other withholds. It's like you haven't quite decided to surrender. Your hair falling in strands heightens the tension. You could go either way, but in this moment...

Excellent photo. You're one of several fine photographers posting their work here on Lit. Thanks for sharing.:rose:

By the way, I love the quote. So true. I hadn't heard of A.R. Asher (for a second, wondered if it was A.R. Ammons, but too straightforward for him), so I looked her up. See? This isn't just a sex site. I learned something.;)

Enjoy your weekend.
