My mamma's is superior to any and all other potato salads. 💯
You're from CA. Enough said.
Potato Salad Participation Award is not the same as World's Best Potato Salad!
It is growing. I can hear it growing.

Describe.
You're from hell. Enough said.
You hush. It's growing too fast. The humidity is growing, too.

Bragging about making the worlds's best potato salad is like bragging about being the world's tallest midget.
Hush Q, not all of us are cool.

Rainy, Cowboy and Me! And, anyone else who wants to join in. I’d invite SaintPeter but he’s afraid of me these days.

'Taters are for fryin', bakin' and mashin'. Not for ... salads .... ewwww....

..
like Miracle Whip, the only way to make potato salad.

No. And no to bell peppers too.

Y'all are a bunch of heathens.

Potatoes, celery, onion, garlic, real mayo, mustard, a dot of milk, S&P, parsley.

Don't gild your lilies.

Among the wilted crowd was the two blueberry bushes. I gave them a drink and a hit of acid. Coupled with the Sun moving so the plants are in shade, they're looking better, perking up.

Got a bottle of 'Rock & Rye' the other day. Thought I'd try something different. OK, but really sweet. Pouring some just now I noticed something in the bottom. It's orange rind. Like the worm in Tequila I guess. Makes some sense since one of the main flavors is citrus.

I'm making this soon: Authentic German Potato Salad

No fucking mayo or Miracle Whip.

  • 3 cups diced peeled potatoes
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Prep

Cook
20 m

Ready In

Place the potatoes into a pot, and fill with enough water to cover.
Bring to a boil, and cook for about 10 minutes, or until easily
pierced with a fork. Drain, and set aside to cool.
Place the bacon in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat.
Fry until browned and crisp, turning as needed. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add onion to the bacon grease, and cook over medium heat
until browned. Add the vinegar, water, sugar, salt and
pepper to the pan. Bring to a boil, then add the potatoes
and parsley. Crumble in half of the bacon. Heat through,
then transfer to a serving dish. Crumble the remaining
bacon over the top, and serve warm.

Bloke from Colorado just told me that Defender 110 in decent condition will go for $110k in the US and scrappers are going for 20k plus. Holy hell, I thought they were dear over here.
