I have a fantasy which might turn out to be reality. If Biden could somehow pull a big upset in November, and if he chooses the lovely Gretchen Whitmer as his running mate, we could soon have our first female president. A President Whitmer would change the face of the Unites States like never before. She has shown that She does not listen to others and runs Her administration Her way. She would have the American people under Her thumb obeying Her every command.

LOL......she can try.

Most states will just laugh at her.....fingers held high. :)

It's true that chances are good whoever Biden picks for the vice presidential slot will rise to the presidency--if Biden wins. And Whitmer has the qualifications to be in the running. With the power to do what he/she wants Trump is pulling into the position of president by default of Congress to do its job, yes, the potential is there for whoever is VP if Biden wins the presidency, to have more personal clout as president than presidents traditionally have had. Responsibility for that falls in the lap of the Trump "administration," the enabling Republican-controlled Senate, and some facets of the judiciary, though.

(This is probably why Bill Barr put the breaks on investigating Obama and Biden--because it would make it a whole hell of a lot easier to investigate Trump when he is pried out of office, and there are SOOOO many grounds ripe for investigating Trump.)
