Eh I dunno. I honestly haven't connected with ANYONE here. I really feel like there are plenty of disingenuous people here. Lots of alts... lots of trickery and for what? To prove you're somehow special or popular on Lit? Seriously? I'm not here to be popular or have hoards of lovers or to get anyone off on a daily basis. That is not my thing at all!

And I totally get that. Lit is not the same place it was when I joined, or even what it was a few years ago. But I've made some friends, met some people, made some connections....and maybe that's good enough.

I met you, and hope we can be friends, and that we can flirt and have fun. That sounds like a good thing :):rose:

Which brings me to the question...why do you have to flirt in order to be friends? I think there are a lot of lofty ideas about how each sex should behave on here. I hear from the guys on here that women want to stake claims and they need to keep things light. Which that really translates into...if something better comes along I want to feel okay about dumping you. That plus all the arguing and middle school behavior? Maybe it’s just not worth it. If I wanted to be lied to and tricked into believing someone actually cared for me...this is definitely the place to come.
