It's really common in my experience for straight women to like lesbian or female solo porn. TBH most male produced porn is shocking and very similarly scripted with no real thought. There are some female produced porn sites which put a bit more effort into it.

You beat me to saying it, but I'm right in the same pocket as you. Primarily, the more tender and gentle approach is so much more erotic in lesbian themed porn. Also, I'm with you on the amateur vs scripted mainstream dichotomy. I don't watch porn a lot, but when I do it's usually lesbian themes. Also, gay emo porn can also often have that more tender, loving feel.
