If we didn't do testing...

If we insist on spending billions to test everyone what do we gain, when the next day could bring an infection of the same thing you were just tested for?

Testing is a false god of medicine.

It cannot tell you about today, only yesterday.

We would have very few cases.

That Is true.

I saw that agenda put into action here in EAST TEXAS. They would not even X_ray people to rule out the virus because they didn't want to contaminate their equipment from a virus that they claimed they could not have unless they came into contact with a sick person known to have it!

Now the REPORTED numbers are climbing thanks to TESTING.

Testing leads to hospitalization and death?

That sure turns medicine on its head.

Widespread testing, in conjunction with other right policy, lets businesses reopen sooner in a safer, more controlled way.

In Amerikkka, we only regularly test the people who come into contact with the impeached President.

Call us old fashioned.

no, the cases will be/are still out there, just not officially recognised. the virus doesn't give a shit if it's counted or not

of all the shit he's said, even the disinfectant stuff, this one made me do a double-take

it's a sad reminder of how thick some people are because they'll believe that twisted logic

Should throw in Hep C, STDs, Pap, BRCA1&2, PMS2, MSH6, and MUTYH, full body scan, dot...dot...dot...

:)

It's not the answer, it only tells you about the day of the test. And contact tracing is a total waste of time and money when millions have already been infected. It will be a task that never ends, can never be verified, it is an artifice Democrat Governors want to employ to keep the economy closed.

Yeah, becuz all those conditions are also highly transmissible respiratory infections that currently have no effective treatments.

Amerikkka, land of free-dumb. Stupidity is free for anyone who wants it.

If the point is to keep people from dying, why not? More deaths per year are attributed to those factors than the boogieman du jour.

And they're mostly curable. :)

It's a political test.

Actually, the market will address some of the covidiot mentality displayed in this thread.

Like, when you go to the dentist, you lay there with your mouth wide open for an hour or two, often with several people hovering right over you.

Are you going to choose a dental or oral surgery office that operates as normal or one where testing is done weekly on its staff until there is an effective treatment for COVID-19?

[here is where Deplorables argue that risk mitigation is simply not possible]

I'll assume since you didn't respond to my brilliant post, you agree with it. :)

Shouldn't the Dentist be more worried about me?

Well, that's why they test people who are at risk for those conditions. Surely you've been to the STD clinic. Are you naturally this ignorant, or did it take years of listening to Rush?

Amerikkka: "Free-dumb's just another word for nothin' left to screw."

I understand your fear of the unknown. You must be scared often. :)
