Greedy, evil Andrew Cuomo who obviously lied (and people died) has decided that "if it saves one life" is no longer a reasonable standard for ruining the lives of 99.6% of the population that was never at risk.

Not only is he saying that New York could begin reopening in just less that a week (quick question, what difference will six days make over, say, today, other than saving face?) he cold-heartedly suggested that three of eleven New York regions are ready today.

The day after yesterday when the board hysterics were claiming that letting adults decide how to adult was murder.

Oh, also of note: (even after belatedly figuring out that the subway was 115 years overdue for sanitizing) he also decided a couple of days ago that granny might be safer if the nursing home staff that breathes on her daily were Covid-free and that some of those scarce tests should be used to find out if granny's caregiver is Covid-free.

Apparently, one of the reasons he decided to let healthy people our of "quarantine" was he also finally figured out that stuffing infected old people into nursing homes where over half the deaths are taking place was the opposite of "social distancing" which was always a meaningless idea.

Nice to see he is coming around to my way of thinking. Actially, rather then pretend quarantine sick people away from healthy people which means keep them isolated, not the other way around, isolate the vulnerable as best you can and actually check the health of those intruding upon the isolation of vulnerable.

Out with the old:

• Don't wear masks.
• Strike that; wear masks!
• Pretend that just outside of handing money to the cashier range is "safe."
• Have the healthy hide from other healthy people
• Except for grocery stores. Having everyone cross paths in the designated safe space is exactly like isolating without the cumbersome isolating.
• Utilize dirty, green transportation.
• Stuff sick old people in with vulnerable people, the better to keep track of death statistics.

In with the new:

• Let healthy people who have zero to low risk from this disease interact with other healthy people who have zero to low risk from this disease.
• Isolate the small subset of the population who are vulnerable.
• Test those that work with the vulnerable.
• Quit stuffing disease vectors in amongst the vulnerable.
• Sanitize your filthy public transportation where the virus was actually spread.
• Recommend the very same precautions everyone should have already been doing every Flu season*
