I have noticed that the left spends a great deal of verbal energy calling people racists. It makes me wonder how those accusations effect the viewpoint of others. So, tell me what you think: Is there a difference between being a racist and being called a racist?

Some of us have been here long enough to know who the actual racists are, littledickbrian.

Most of the online charges of racism I've seen leveled are directed at people who've said things that had nothing to with race or racism. The charge has been trivialized by the desperately clueless left.

If a tree falls in the wood, and none is around to see it, did it really fall?

The left does/do a lot of things to make them feel better about themselves and to make them accepted among similar ilk. :)

If you call everyone else a racists then you can hid with them so they do not notice that you are a racists.

Those who* hurl the word Racist as pejorative
are doing so out of self-righteous racialism...

* This fucking spellcheck has an unhealthy fixation on The Who. If I type The WHO
or, as I just did those who, it wants to change them to the band...

pfft....Vetty can't possibly be a racist! He lost his virginity to a Mexican hooker, remember?

so did he use maize instead of corn for payment  :D

you need to run away from threads regarding racism, cap'n.

Let me get this straight, being white is no longer the metric for being a Racist in the US?

Yes.

Racialist does have the root word Racism,
but what you are doing is tantamount to saying that Racism is not a word,
because it's root is race, with a capital R...

Now disingenuous is in your mirror; go look.
