I'm leaning toward a chicken caesar salad. Not sure.

Kitty Girl had her dry food recreated as wet - chicken breast and oatmeal. Now I just need to make sure she gets a bit of fat with her food at medicine time and she'll be set.

About 300 calories a day for her apparently. So about 5 ounces of chicken. Plus a few extra calories from a bit of fat and a bit of oatmeal. Although she's not eating that much now.

I wouldn't mind a cupcake. I'd like one to just march right on up though. I don't want someone to touch it and I don't want to have to make it. So I need a food replicator. Fuck.

my niece had to put her cat on a wet food diet because the poor thing basically has pica. she just can't help herself. she must eat hair. poor big, fluffy kitty.

I had no idea that UTI infections got special diets. But then I've only ever had one and that was well over 25 years ago. Pure cranberry juice (blech) and it's done easy peasy. Well apparently not so much for cats?

Either way she won't touch the food the vet sent home. She ate it the first day and I wretched through giving it to her. Frankly I'm just as happy to make it than to smell that crap. It's just a bit more expensive and labor intensive. But hey no dry heaves so bonus.

ETA - come to think of it, at $3 a can it's not more expensive. It's not a big can. Like a can of tuna fish. $3. That's a lot.

there are few things worse than wet cat food. even dog food is a significant improvement despite the fact that it generally smells like a wet fart.

When they recommended it I had my doubts about being able to handle it. I didn't think she'd turn her nose up at it. She's usually quite amenable. But it's even too gross for her.

Hill's diet or something like that. Just smells yak.
