Working on a cuckqueen story

It's definitely my emotional masochism at work, but the dynamic in the Loving Wives category has fascinated me on a few levels since I was first alerted to it. The thing is, it took me a while to kind of figure out why. I'm not attracted to the idea of infidelity for myself, even as a fantasy (though I happen to think open relationships, when agreed upon, can be perfectly healthy) but I steadily began to realize I might have a complicated attraction to the kink when you gender flip the default.

So here I am, writing a thing where a submissive woman watches her husband sex with a vampy sophisticate while she fights both her own arousal and distress.


However, my marginal understanding of loving wives leaves me uncertain as to what reaction I ought to anticipate for that. I guess I just want to share this in case anyone has any thoughts or it leads to a line of dialogue that can potentially help me think of a title.

The story, in case anyone is curious, has an element of class discussion. The wife is a comic book artist from a working class background, while the party this event happens at has an elite aesthetic.


Um, also: Is this an acceptable place to put threads like this in, as opposed to story ideas?

I believe this is the right forum for a question like this.

There are definitely people here with more experienced viewpoints than me, but I can say, from having only a single story in Loving Wives, that they really don’t fuck around. The story is “Proxy” (link in sig) and you can check out the public comments to see the kind of shit I got for it. But, in addition to all that flak, I also got more favorites, reads and votes on that story than any of my others. So, take that as you will.

I don’t have any experience with cuckquean stories myself, but I did find a few interesting things. The tag “cuckquean” is not in the list of popular tags in LW at all. But, it is on the list for popular tags in Fetish and for BDSM. If you search the site as a whole for the “cuckquean” tag, it is used most often in Fetish and BDSM, rarely in LW. Again, take that as you will.

No story titles come to mind.

I looked in "Search Stories" for "wife watches" and found about 7800 stories covering almost all categories, though the ones I saw most often were "Group Sex" and "Exhibitionist & Voyeur." Realistically, perhaps only 20% to 25% of those will really be the kind of story you hope for, but they do seem to pop up in all categories. Good luck and have fun with it.

You'll probably get a saner response putting it in V&E. If, as you say, you're not familiar with the LW dynamic, you might want to do your homework before you post there - it's no longer what the category title suggests.

Well, I mean, I'm aware that LW has this passionate hatedom of men who are so infuriated by the idea of someone fantasizing about their own worst fear that they go around one bombing and insulting nearly every story they lay their eyes on. It was more that I was uncertain what flipping the gender norm would cause in that space.

It depends on what you mean by "better off."

If the story has a strong voyeuristic element, as it appears it does, then, yes, you probably will receive a respectful reception in E&V, and probably will get a better score than if you submit it in LW.

LW has a much larger audience, however, than E&V. While you probably will attract some nasty comments and votes if you publish it there, and perhaps a lower score, you probably also will get a bigger audience, and possibly more favorites and more favorable comments.

I've published some stories that straddle LW and E&V in E&V and they've done pretty well there. I decided I didn't want to deal with the hostility I knew would come from publishing in LW, and the voyeur and exhibitionist themes were very strong.

Just to chime in with what others have already stated, you will absolutely get caught up in the vitriol if you post a story like that in LW.

You'll also get unfairly lumped in with other authors who write cuck stories. Sadly, they are usually very poorly written. You're going to be one-bombed regardless, it would suck to also be dinged because of the skills of others.

If you choose LW, my advice would be too include a brief intro that says something like: "This story involves elements of X, Y and Z. If you are not comfortable with those topics, I would recommend that you instead read any of the other fine stories on Literotica."
