Are all New Yorkers this stupid?

NYC considers rats as mascots so, the citizens - in general - not so bright.

However, rats do good work in labs so there's that.

i was under the impression that the oh pee was a strong supporter of the american constitution, including the first amendment. Glad to see he's taking a Liberal stance when it comes to the pandemic. :)

As Tom Clancy said in one of his novels, The one where Jack Ryan was president and terrorists released a modified ebola virus in the US, The Constitution is not a suicide pact.

The constitution guarantees freedom of religion, and freedom of assembly.

Assemble virtually. Watch church services on TV. Go to confession via phone. You are still exercising your rights while keeping you and your family safe.

Justice Robert H. Jackson said it first, probably before Clancy was born.:)

The government has zero legal power to interrupt inalienable rights such as those enshrined in the First Amendment.

:rolleyes::)

Check these dudes out. Wtf, eh?

Wisconsinites Against Excessive Quarantine was created Wednesday by Ben Dorr. His brother Christopher is the creator of Pennsylvanians Against Excessive Quarantine, as well as Ohioans Against Excessive Quarantine. A third brother, Aaron, is the creator of New Yorkers Against Excessive Quarantine.

In any other city I would commend them for defying orders. But in this case... Yes, stupid

i just don't get how people can be so stupid. i had to run a few fast errands this morning and the amount of people who were defiantly not wearing face masks was shameful. i can get being a little lax midwest where the numbers are lower and slower but in the area that accounts for a third to half of all cv related deaths in the entire country is just wrong. its already all a huge disaster without a bunch of dumb asses acting out their rebel without a cause fantasies making it worse for those of us who just want to lock down and ride it out.

You can't fix stupid

A lot of people simply don't believe the virus is real and that the government & media are lying about it and the deaths. I don't get that but they do. Even with all the videos and pictures of the hospital workers and patients online - they think it is all just made up.

Wow! Not all are stupid. I did live there once. On a military base. I did notice the only free thinkers I encountered (and not all of them) were on the military base.

On the outside a lot of palms were greased and people seemed okay with this. They also seemed to share a brain. When I lived there, those Juicy Couture track suits for women were popular.

The women must have called each other the night before or something. They'd all show up in the light blue one or the pink one, or... In other words, they all did the same thing.

If one person did the wrong thing, the others were quick to join in! It was sad, and I was glad to leave there!

Herd mentality, it's a proven thing.

Also, everyone wants to belong to something.
