This is an excellent article from the investigative Reporter Paul Sperry on the use of Computer textual analyses and linguistic fingerprint technology used to expose Victoria Coates:

Here's 'Anonymous,' Trump Aides Say. And Here's How They Outed Her.

April 15, 2020

Ever since a “senior official in the Trump administration” penned an anonymous 2018 New York Times column attacking President Trump as unfit for office, Washington has been engrossed in a high-stakes whodunit. After an exhaustive investigation, the White House believes it’s cracked the case, identifying Trump's turncoat as his former deputy national security adviser, Victoria Coates, according to people familiar with the internal probe.

Rather than fire Coates, the White House has quietly transferred her to the Department of Energy, where she awaits special assignment in Saudi Arabia -- far from the president.

Trump effectively demoted Coates just four months after promoting her last fall to the No. 2 spot on his National Security Council. The move was made amid a whisper campaign, started in January, that identified Coates as “Anonymous,” the person who wrote the Times Op-Ed and a subsequent book, “A Warning,” claiming to be part of a cabal of “fellow Republicans" resisting Trump and his policies from inside the administration.

The Washington press corps has for the most part dismissed the whispers as “unsubstantiated rumors” circulated on the Internet.
But the sources said the identification of Coates was based on circumstantial evidence generated from a months-long White House investigation led by sleuths within the NSC. Top White House adviser Peter Navarro, who works with the NSC on trade and other issues, also was heavily involved in the probe of Coates.

Good.

I hope her "special assignment" has no official communiques, authorization for anything, or expenses stipend. However, it should come with a performance review that includes a standard for "promoting a positive image of the United States, and it's President, to foreign people, dignitaries, and officials while conducting oneself within the laws of the Host Nation".

IOW, I hope she gets to live in Saudi Arabia on her own dime with nothing to do except promote the United States and Trump. Or she can resign.

She thinks trump is unfit for office? Who doesnt other than liberal hating republicans? The man is a joke.

If true - IF TRUE - assigning a traitor to Saudi Arabia is an interesting option. Who knows what would happen in an unpredictable region. Fun times!

However, somehow this viper will end up on The View blowing Ms. Goldberg during breaks.

Resignation is probably the option she'll choose. I can't see the uppity bitch tolerating the social restraints of Saudi Arabia.

1- she should have been fired. That is not cool. Doesn't matter if you support the prez or not. How long would you last at your job if you bashed your boss on facebook?

2- I honestly thought this was about anony mouse who 1 bombs and leaves hate filled rants on stories especially in loving wives.

Or write two books designed to undermine the outcome of a national election.

Sounds like the efficient use of taxpayer dollars this administration has been famous for.

Imagine if Trump and his administration viewed coronavirus as much of a threat as someone is loyal to the country and not the President.

Like Paleosi, who in January was trying to prevent Trump from closing the US because of CV? That "loyal American"?

Speaker of the House Pelosi's late February rally to get people to visit San Francisco's Chinatown absolutely helped. Helped COVID-19! Party time!

How many gin and tonics led to that decision?

Not that gin and tonics aren't a perfect drink.

She wasn't loyal to the country or she wouldn't have committed an act of aggression against the Constitution that provides its foundation. The President has not committed a crime.
