Damn, I never saw John in the 70's but had his records and played them incessantly. I did see him a few years ago in a concert with Ron Sexsmith, and all the lyrics came flowing back.

I heard Canned Heat's "Let's Work Together" for the first time in a long time yesterday on the CBC's Holger Petersens's Saturday Night Blues show where it was an audience request. It's certainly ab apt song for these times, and perhaps will strike a chord with those of us to be at or near the at risk age group.

Warning, when I googled the song, the first listing features an array of nubile young women gyrating to the music. However, although pulchritudinous they are definitely not together.
