With the Corvid-19 crisis and everyone in self distancing, what we all need is some down downer music.

I'm starting the thread with The End by The Doors and invite you to add your contribution(s). The only rule is that there must be at least two other person's posts before you can add your next depressing addition.

Disregarding my own rules, I'm posting here again without a two post buffer.

There is an apocryphal Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times." Like it or not we are living in interesting times. They are times of danger and uncertainty; but we must are also be open to opportunity for change.

Perhaps even a Blessing in Disguise.

Poets

Tzara linked to this in "In Memoriam" after Gord's passing but it's always worth another spin.

I heard Canned Heat's "Let's Work Together" for the first time in a long time yesterday on the CBC's Holger Petersens's Saturday Night Blues show where it was an audience request. It's certainly ab apt song for these times, and perhaps will strike a chord with those of us to be at or near the at risk age group.

Warning, when I googled the song, the first listing features an array of nubile young women gyrating to the music. However, although pulchritudinous they are definitely not together.

Happy Easter to all.
