Getting into reading erotica

I’m new here, and was thinking about posting audio stories, but I’m not much of a writer. I was wondering if there were stories people wish they could listen to, and maybe I could read them and post it here.

Are you saying that you're looking to narrate other people stories, and then read them here?

I'm sure many of us would be flattered if you did that.

That’s a great idea. If anyone has any they’d like read by a guy, I’d be happy to do the same. Or even to collaborate (if we could work out the editing) where there’s male and female perspectives and/or dialogue.

So long as the audio production quality is decent, I agree with Maeven_quinn, I'd be flattered to hear my stories or poems read out loud by a voice that isn't in my head.

And by production quality, I don't mean sound effects or anything. I just mean that the recording should be clean and sound good--no background noises, dogs barking when a delivery person shows up, phones ringing, etc.

Please let us know when/if you do your first recording. I'd love to hear it!

Just a question/thought on where they would be posted. To my limited knowledge, there is only one Audio Story Hub. Would the audio formatted story then be sent to the original author to post under their account — or we're you planning to post them under a new account of your own?

Sounds like an interesting idea, just not sure of the details on how it would work.

I did an experiment, House of Feathers 3 - A Contest, in which male and female narrations flowed one into the other. Might work aurally. I wouldn’t require it to be posted on my page so long a credit was given.

I've got two audio stories by two different readers, one is on my story page (she gave me the file, I uploaded it), and the second one went up somewhere else (if it even went up - the project might have fallen over unfinished, I can't remember now).

If it goes up on the reader's account, it would be easy enough to arrange with Laurel a working link to the original story - it's the same as a collaboration in that respect. Easily done.
