I think you have to upload an image from a website but I'm not sure I'm new

Ladylush88 is quite correct. You can either insert a URL link to send an image via PM, or you can insert an image which asks for the URL via PM. Basically, the same way you would attach a picture in a thread.

You can't attach a picture to a PM. You can only supply a URL link to an image hosted somewhere else.
