What Are You Thinking? Continued 7

Yesterday was more or less a perfect storm of stress, anxiety, frustration and pain. Being up until 3 am having a panic attack is about as unfun as it gets. But on the plus side, I wasn't dying.

As a result of both all of that and the lack of sleep it brought on, today has felt strange. Dreamlike at times. Hazy and unfocused.

But then the sun came out. It truly is amazing how big an impact something so mundane can have. I'm still not at the top of my game. But warmth and the optimism inherent in the spring season just refuse to let my spirits stay down in the doldrums. It's a shining, brilliant reprieve, if only for a few moments.

I think people are starting to get that “I work from home” doesn’t mean I sit about all day, watching TV and drinking coffee! I may however stay in my pj’s 🙄

🙄🙄🙄 Grown men playing video games like they're still children.

OK, Boomer.

Actually, the average age of a gamer is 25-35. Gaming is expected to be the most popular form of entertainment by the end of the year. With smartphones bringing videogames to almost everybody’s pocket, the value of the videogame industry will be significantly higher than any other form of entertainment.

All that said, I do understand the sentiment coming from people who spend time on an antiquated forum. This is about as good as it gets for you, and I can be sympathetic towards your position.

Hopefully, one day you’ll enter the 21st Century with the rest of the world. :)

Yeah, is game shaming a thing now?

Maybe the games I play make me more violent along with that devil music - rock and roll?

As the jingle goes - I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys 'R' Us kid...

My guy plays. He’s 36. And he watches his best friend Stream.
But it’s true, when he starts, I go.
There’s one game I love to watch him play, just because it’s beautiful and eerie. It’s called Little Nightmares.

I have read wonderful things about Little Nightmares, but I haven’t played it myself. It falls in line with games lime LIMBO and INSIDE.

They’re good games that have a unique art style and story. The only downside to them is when you beat them, which is after roughly 2-3 hours, they’re done. Not a lot of replay value for most people.

A really amazing game to play is Journey. It was a PS3 exclusive, and it won IGN Game of the Year many years ago. But it’s beautiful.

Man, when I heard that politicians were bringing up the VIDEOGAMES = VIOLENCE bullshit last year, I wanted to facepalm so hard.

I can’t believe that this is still even a conversation.

“Guns don’t kill people, videogames do.”

My husband has so many Steam games, he should probably purchase stock in Valve.

I'd rather watch a guy work on a car or build something than play the video games. Then, I can imagine their hands doing things...not so much with a game controller. ;)

A good Starcraft player can manage 60+ mouse clicks per second. That's gotta be good for something, right?

Course, you gotta know where the button is 😈

It's funny you say that because I have a tier system...

People who are my friends are on my Phone Contacts.

People who are my close friends are on my Discord friend's list.

People who are my god-tier, BEST friends are on my Steam friends list.

The person who has my heart is on my Nintendo Switch friends list. And not too many people can compete with her. :D

My hubby plays video games whenever he can, I actually enjoyed watching him play Red Dead II but it absolutely can get annoying when he’s set up in our living room playing his games and ignoring me entirely..

The hub’s pulled several all-nighters with RDR2. That game is a masterpiece. 🙂
