At this point I don't think so.
As an Atheist, even I don't have a problem with Trump
"officially" setting aside the day for people to pray,
hell it's more of a good thing than a bad thing.
I'm not inclined to bag on any President
who urges a little prayer at times.
I know, a lot of people think he's not religious and this makes him a hypocrite
but as Machiavelli pointed out in the Prince [paraphrase],
the Prince need not be religious but
he must have the appearance
of being religious.

You can still have any conversation you wish with anyone you wish, and you can ignore anyone you wish.
Blaming other people for your inability to create an environment that you would prefer is weak.
What happens is the volume of people fell below critical mass. It's a whole lot easier to have Facebook and Twitter tell you what you should be thinking about and sharing...and with whom.
