How's everybody getting along where you are? Everybody good? Got enough toilet paper? :D

Come and let us know you're alive so us Momme types don't have to lie awake nights worried that you're dead in a ditch somewhere, please and thank you.:cattail:

Good stocks of loo roll here.

I'm more worried about lube. We're self-isolating after coming back from northern
Italy :)eek:). Two weeks. What to do, what to do....

Doing great here! Just going about doing my as usual during the cold
And flu season.

Finally getting over the "regular" Flu. Company just sent us home to work "remotely" for 2 weeks

I work in an industry that is currently extra busy, due to the outbreak. There are confirmed cases less than ten mins drive from me. Unfortunately if the country goes on lockdown, it doesn’t for me and I will still have to work!

I’m alive, but exhausted.

The two of you are very creative as well as inquisitive so I'm certain you'll not lack for activities. ;):D

I just read an article about the high level of textile workers' traffic between Northern Italy and China. I'd no idea of any of that. The worlds become ever so smaller.

As for myself, I'd done the routine universal precautions thing, the same as during any flu outbreak in my hereabouts. I've got the basic foods and OTC meds on hand to tide me over should the need arise and enough books and projects to keep me occupied. :)

All good here, thankfully, for now. There have been a few cases admitted to the hospital about a mile from me, including your own Mr and Mrs Hanks. It is slightly converning knowing it is so close but life goes on, im certainly not letting the hysteria grab hold of me. Just keep an eye on your friends and loved ones everybody, especially the more senior members of our community.
Good to see you are ok Honey :)

We have over 150 confirmed cases in Canada.... 60 in my province.... people are going a little crazy at the grocery stores and the Costcos.... schools are closed for the next 3 weeks... checking in on people you know might be at risk is a good thing......

I was put into isolation yesterday. I'm considered high risk and health officials here don't want me in the front lines.

This is concerning, so I truly hope that you are taking care of yourself and aren't exposed to the virus.

In our corner of the world, we've had some positive cases. School closures, people raiding the toilet paper, towel paper, etc... Taking precautionary measures for the elderly who are required to stay at home unless they have appointments. Concerns that this may fill our hospitals with patients soon. If people will stay away from panic mode and not buy everything off the shelves, I believe we'll be okay. :)

Pssst... we are all kind of exposed. Or, will be.

This. For most it’s a cold at worst. It’s the passing it on to those at greater risk that’s the problem.

Yep, I've thought about both of the above and agree that being concerned about not recognizing an exposure or mild case and passing that along is disturbing.

Well, I devised my firm's COVID-19 policy over fish and chips in the pub today. Everyone over 60 is banned from setting foot in the office for the next two weeks, and we'll review then. Everyone else is to work at home, except that we're having one person physically in the office daily.

That's the easy bit. Seldom has giving up alcohol for Lent seemed such a poor choice...

I think I am already dead. Actually I OD’d a long time ago and this is just a parallel universe but whatever the fuck.

Oh, FFS...you just resurrected long-buried disaster response memories where I spent weeks writing up a multi-agency one that ended up being copied by every county around us and more. I went without sleep and made myself ill over that and learned why others always waited until someone else wrote up something.

My state's governor just closed every school in PA for at least 2 weeks. I work at a manufacturing facility. Many of our employees are working parents. Everyone is scrambling. I'm an introvert. I'll just stay home and then I can't get infected or infect someone else. My son's cat is coming to stay with me next week and Lysol is bad for them, I heard. I'll figure it out.

I’m in Singapore and get daily updates from the Sing Ministry 2-3 times a day on my phone...

Overnight we have 13 more cases bringing the total thus far to 200 today in my city...but 97 of those have been treated and discharged already and no deaths here til date...

Thus far I have been concerned but not panic buying or not going out and living...

That said it screws with your mind when your hubby gets a cold and fever and now I seem to have the same symptoms as he does as of last night, although my temp is only slightly elevated at this point... He travels globally for his job as well frequently but last trip was 10 days back... but we are going to the clinic in couple hours to see a doc ... this doc is cautious too and is seeing us 45 minutes before the clinic opens for others to be on safe side...

I’m sure it’s just a cold... but it does play with your mind...

Fingers crossed for you both 🤞🤞

I'm in Berlin, with ~160 confirmed cases. Bars and clubs are shutting down, museums, pools and markets are closing, any gatherings of any real size are doing similar, and the BVG (public transport authority) is scaling back what they operate. You can't get a test unless you've been exposed to someone confirmed to have it, and even then I'm reading that people aren't being seen all that quickly. Basically - the city's not ready for this, but it's doing its best to adapt on the fly.

Personally, so far so good. I seem to be fine, and I'm curious to go out tomorrow to get more supplies and see what state the supermarkets are in (I am stocking up a little bit, but I'm not panic-buying 'cause IMNSHO that's some bullshit and doesn't help the people who really need stuff).

Living in a senior independent living complex here in Houston, Texas. No infections here yet, but here we are all in that rather vulnerable age group . My kids would like to extract me but I am staying put for the time being. Staff are taking temperatures if we leave the complex and return. My meals are provided so that is not a problem.
So far so good.

I really don't have to go anywhere, and have a plentiful supply of coconut oil. ;)
