Help with profile

i created this profile, username and password because I can't post with my other one. I have a story to submit and I want to submit it under my original username but there is no active link to submit a story.
Under this new username I can do everything. What can I do to get my original usernam working again?

Send a PM (Private Message) to Laurel is the only way.

Go to the top right of this page and you should see Private Messages. Click there, then look on the left-hand side of the page, and you'll see New Message. Click there, then address it to Laurel

The website is in the midst of a change (upgrade) and there have been problems. Patience. The powers that be are busy.

Disappointed

I want to submit a story under my original profile, but there is no link to do so, there is with this, but I don't want to submit here unless I'm forced to.
Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed.
Laurel said my profile looks fine, but I still can't do anything with it. don't understand.

Go to this page and login (at the top) with your original info. That gives you a different author page than the page that displays your stories. You may have to log out of the second profile you created. If it is showing your second profile log out and follow the first instructions above.

Once you're logged in, click on your name. If it shows you are already logged in (with the right profile) then just click on the link. It will take you to the author page and at the top is a link that says NEW STORY. Click on that.

The author page allows you to submit stories, handle comments etc. It is different than your profile page. I suspect that may be your problem.

Still can't submit

I have tried completely logging out, refreshing, quitting completely out, rebooting and I still can't do anything with my old username, I'll try contacting Laurel again.

Try logging out, then clear cookies and logging back in with your original id on the authors login screen.

Alternately, if you have one available, try logging in to your original account with a different browser and see if everything works there.

Yes, Explorer isn't working at the moment (or the last couple of months) I can't log in with it.

Anybody still using IE needs to find an alternative. The market share has decreased sufficiently with the widespread acceptance of Win 10 to finally allow websites to stop jumping through the annoying hoops necessary to make anything function in IE.

Anybody still using it going to find their experience anywhere on the internet will quickly degrade from here on out.
