You find that around the pool or on the beach, no need to get sea legs to see that. What the boat offers is the ability to see missswannie in the buff and be able to take her below and talk about the hard things!!
There was another pub band from here called INXS that used to play the pubs until they got bigger. I used to sneak in and watch them as a 1x year old.
Wow that is so beautiful there. It has been an interesting week and a bit.
Part 1: We spent a while on the boat and moored of the back end of Rottnest Island for a few days in one of the more isolated bays and beaches.

We are quite self sufficient on board, with solar power, batteries and diesel generators when needed. Straight over the edge and a quick snorkel away and you can find a good catch of crayfish and fish.

Old mate doesn't mind hanging around to see what is up either. He's quite partial to stealing a fish or getting a misplaced cray. It's quite fun diving with them as they come up and try to look into your mask. Not as much fun when he suddenly jumps up onto the transom board in the middle of the night next to you when you are having a quiet pee off the back without waking everyone up.

If you head around the island to main settlement you can be a little less self sufficient and indulge in a nice beer and pub meal, do a bakery run, grab some bait for fishing etc. The waters are nice here and look out towards the mainland. It was Valentines Day so more than a few couples enjoying themselves.

Outside of the immediate settlement, the rest of the bays and beaches are do what you please so the bikini bottoms came off as well there.

Quokka, funny things. Back in the day of students sleeping in tents on the island you used to know if one of the buggers got in as they would rifle through all of the food and probably leave a flea or two in your sleeping bag.
You are welcome to come for a ride on the boat. It is the blokes new toy. The usual progression of things that can towed behind the car through to needs its own pen at the yacht club now. Probably cheaper to catch the ferry over when you look at the hourly diesel burn but it has the benefit of being able to sleep a group so makes up for it there.
Ha ha, would it make a difference if I said we saw Queen with Adam Lambert on Sunday night. No boob flashing there.
You'd be surprised at the number of bands and sporting events I go to see. Quite varied. Next weekend is the ACDC Highway to Hell event. Bon Scott was a Fremantle lad and ACDC played the pubs. The Highway to Hell from the song is Canning Highway between Fremantle and The Raffles Hotel where they would play on a weekend. So there is 10 km of highway that will be closed to cars, and will have bands playing along the length of it with the usual food vans and mobile pubs set up.

Quite agree on that one A. If he had slinked over and said strip, hands and knees, I doubt I would have hesitated. In 1986, Michael Hutchence was just about the sexiest thing I had ever laid eyes on up to that point in my life.
Certainly is.Wow that is so beautiful there.
All that solid body of work yet you'll forever be known as the one who splurged for front row of Michael Buble.
No Midnight Oil mentions? I bet you've left a few beds burning. I was a fan of inxs as well.
Well hopefully you do make the odd trek to the other side of the hills. I don't know what floats it for you but I never get tired of being by the ocean, so even a different stretch of ocean is pleasing. You are welcome to come for a ride on the boat. It is the blokes new toy
A kind offer, although since my wife died, and at my age I can hardly be bothered to leave the town where I live.
Michael Buble is very good value, I love the music from the Great American song era: Queen is my favourite band, it would difficult to pick their best song: It was not easy to replace Freddy but they have done the next best thing with Adam.
I assume that "the bloke" is used with affection: Or is it particularly Australian thing?
Do you have a daily office job when not globe trekking? Sorry I'm a bit on the nosy side.
We buy 50+ waterproof sunscreen by the kilo here. It is second nature to be putting it on. The Ozone hole in the 80's changed the thinking on all of that. Its something we have to pull the tourists up on when they arrive here.Nice skin texture and in beautiful shape, particularly like you are not burned by the sun.
I live on the beautiful Moray Firth coast, close to the Great Glen and Loch Ness but avoid the water's edge at this time of year, as I fear my balls may be frozen off.
My sister is visiting next month so will make the effort to drive her about, which I no doubt will enjoy.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. I hope to be back on the Black Isle come next September for a Highland fling.

Obviously I have video conferencing available, but a lot of decisions and negotiating is done in restaurants and side meetings prior to the main event, off the minutes, so you lose a lot of that influence. The last thing you want is to go into a meeting and hear an item come up that you have no idea about. That's tantamount to hearing the exit bells sounding soon.As a frequent flyer, have you thought of limiting your exposure to corona by a method other than physical journeys?
The AC/DC history is very interesting. A band I used to enjoy with each album and I can't remember how many of their concerts I went to.A long weekend here, and as part of the festival and 40th anniversary of the death of Bon Scott there was an AC/DC Highway to Hell event over 10km of highway. The Canning Highway from Fremantle to the Raffles Hotel in Canning Bridge is the subject of the song and various other AC/DC songs feature bits and pieces along the way. They closed the highway and people set up along the way or walked along as various bands played on the back of trucks. A few hundred thousand people turned up so great fun and loud.
Whilst I should have squeezed into a pair of black leather pants, I wussed out and went the nice girl option. White knickers at an AC/DC event would have been laughable back in the day but pretty whites and a sundress was the choice.

Taking a backstreet to get ahead of the crowd at the beginning near the Raffles I came across a little boutique which had a lovely blouse hanging up in the window. So beautifully sheer. I bought it of course. You will have to watch for it to make an appearance in the near future.

As for the crowd and events....

So, yes, I will survive without travel in the short term, but losing the ability to sniff the air and catch the sideways glance is not going to be too successful. As you can see with the sudden plunge in gold prices, despite being a safe haven, there are a lot of big companies leveraged up that are fearing margin positions, so the scramble for cash shows warning signs that danger is afoot. Somewhat 2007-ish.
I roll out the cheekies now and again. I have bikini bottoms in the same cut. Those are very pretty whites. And I will keep both eyes out for that sheer top. That event looks a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing
Very unlikely to give up thongs, they are much more comfy. I have white knickers and most other colour ones too. I probably have too many pairs of knickers bras and other assorted but thats my vice. The AC/DC history is very interesting. A band I used to enjoy with each album and I can't remember how many of their concerts I went to.
Are you going with white panties now and giving up the thongs?
Indeed. Bon Scott also did a stint in the black hole Fremantle Prison.Three of AC/DC were born in Scotland, Bon Scott spent his early days in Kirriemoor, famous for the ancient obscene song "The Ball of Kirriemoor" much too salacious for an well brought up lady such as you. There is a Jim Croce and a Kenneth McKellar version out there.
Indeed AC/DC is rather precious here. Knickers not as precious but I suppose they pop into view from time to time with the sea breeze here being so strong.Thank you for your latest batch of photos, AC/DC lives on in the heart of Australians judging from the turn out to this event.
A gorgeously snug pair of knickers, so sexy they should be on display to the nation.
Eyes and ears, but maybe the sniff is the smell of fear, or Sir Nick opening a bottle of red for elevensies a tad early.losing the ability to sniff the air
So the eyes play an important part as well as the ears in business conferences? pity your sense of smell can't be fully used
No I have not extended my writing in Lit to the story sections. I sometimes think I could, but fear it would have to be a single writing session or else I would lose it in the background of daily tasks after.I miss this writing. Have you ever written any stories here outside these threads?
Declining is a dangerous move, imbibing is also a dangerous game before serious reds at lunch. Always best to get the serious discussions out of the way beforehand so you know what you are going to be asked in the main event.Sir Nick opening a bottle of red for elevensies a tad early.
I though's are you would decline, sounds like a bad fictional conference drama! are games often played?
